Great location as mentioned many times by other reviews. It's on a road parallel to Jonker Street. On the same road, there are other hotels as well eg Hotel Puri, Courtyard Heereen, so choose depending on your budget. Fast check-in & check-out. Nyonya furniture are used in this hotel, good for photo shots. Massage & nail services are provided at...

The old front part of the building is lovely, but the rooms are very basic - many have no windows and are small and didn't look very clean - sheets were a bit grey and very damp and bathroom wasn't very clean. But okay for the price I guess and good location. Definitely ask for rooms at the back that...

Stayed a night on 22 Sep 11. The room was basic with a comfortable bed, very clean bathroom/toilet, provided with 2 bottles of mineral water and coffee making facilities. There's a courtyard and is like living in a big house with many rooms is like travelling back in time experiencing the Chinese way of living, on the whole I have...

Rooms are great (ask for rooms with a window at the back side of the hotel) and clean. We stayed 3 nights and that was enough for visiting Melaka. The staff was nice and the breakfast was simple. Free Wifi worked well. Location is near all the sightseeings.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights. The staff was very nice, but the room was a bit disappointing. There were no windows and it wasn't very clean. The location is nice, very close to Jonker Street and about a 10 minute walk to the cultural centre. The free wi-fi worked well. I think it's good for 1 or...

The only advantage is good location (near the jonker walk). You definitely can find much better hotel in Melaka with the same price.

Rooms are reasonably priced and amenities were sufficient for a short stay at Malacca. Have gone back to the Baba house on a few occasion ever since it was recommended by a friend. Service was good, the staff speaks good English. Rooms were clean, no complaints about the shower facilities, and free internet as well. The mattresses could have been...

This hotel is old but quite nice. We had a small room but it was comfortable and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was reasonable. It's in a wonderful position, very close to Jonker Street with the markets and cafes so accessible. I would definitely recommend to friends.

This hotel is in the center of the tourist/old town area of Melaka where you want to be if you truly are a tourist. We looked at a number of hotels before we chose this one. They are all worn out but this was one of the better ones. I suspect the sold out Perus hotel across the street is...
