Beautiful historic property although we had a fairly uninspiring room. Saying that, the bathroom was new with a good shower. I found the reception staff helpful although perhaps a little surly....maybe a smile or two would help generate good feeling. Decent breakfast served in pretty courtyard. Decent location for walking around sights. Price was higher than our hotel in KL...

We stayed here for two days and had a great experience with the hotel. Rooms are pretty big and are clean. A visit to the spa is very recommendable, very relaxing and pretty cheap! Also the location is pretty good. Just a short walk to the stadthuys and just of Jonker street

Enjoyed our stay in this beautiful old hotel. Room was adequate, bathroom excellent, breakfast excellent in a lovely garden setting and the location is superb. On one day our room wasn't cleaned until mid afternoon which was a bit annoying, particularly because it was so early the previous day, but all in all can't complain.

Last minute decision to go to Melacca. Arrived in the main historic area - had a quick look in 2-3 hotels (one of which was highly rated!) and stumbled across the Puri Hotel. Woohoo! Great atmosphere. Great welcome by Liang the Ops Manager. The place just reeked of charm. Also great value. After a quick inspection of the room, it...

I stayed a whole week at Hotel Puri, it was an exquisite experience. It is such a lovingly restored old colonial Chinese mansion, feels like being transported back in time. All around it too is beautiful old heritage property, it really is living history. Conveniently located in Chinatown, handy yo everything- especially some great eating places.

Charming heritage hotel in a good location. We had a standard room which doesn't have a fridge, this is not a complaint from us just letting others know. The room was clean and beds comfortable. Our room was also quiet and we slept well. The breakfast was excellent and in a lovely setting making it a great way to start...

This is my 4th or 5th stay at the boutique hotel Hotel Puri for a span of close to 10 years. I must say the service standards have been maintained consistently over the years. Hotel Puri is conveniently located behind Jonker Walk, which makes it a double plus point as Puri has its own carpark hence there is no need...

I'm one who doesn't favour boutique hotels. I was researching on the net for our Malacca self-drive trip (for 5 adults and 1 child), I was in a dilemma on a regular hotel or boutique hotel. After ploughing through various sites, I decided to give Hotel Puri a try. The hotel is located at a street just beside Jonker Street...

My wife and I together with a couple of friends dropped in on this hotel by recommendation of a taxi driver.we negotiated a price reduction to stay for a couple of days. The hotel was very comfortable and the staff so welcoming. The breakfast was terrific with a great deal of choice, English if you wanted it but why go...
