I have been coming here with a large group for years. Mostly good experiences but this place was not designed for fishermen. It is almost impossible for boats to navigate the narrow streets or make turns into the properties. Poor design. This last year we could not make the turn with our trailer to park our boat and got in...

I would like to say I understand this gentleman's frustration with the resort and it's layout. When the resort first open the developer was hungry for business so he attended a lot of boat shows in several states with the Chamber of Commerce. Unfortunately he got exactly what he wanted, a lot of business but he soon realized the resort...

Everything here was great. Nice fall get-away. Penny went over and above at check-in. Everything at our cottage was nice. Lots of room. Caught lots of fish and used the cleaning station. Would return! Highly recommend!

We stayed here for the weekend, we scheduled a fishing trip with Coosa River Guide Service on Weiss Lake for crappie. Our stay was awesome, having everything we needed in one place. We got picked up at the hotel and everything was taken care off. Will definitely stay here again when we come back. Clean rooms and great service.

Spent July 4th in "The Splash Pad.". All the kids loved it! The fireworks were amazing! Best ever!! Plus the patriotic parade with all the children was so sweet. So much to do here, no one is ever bored. Loved the unit. It was the perfect location!

My sisters and I just returned from a very nice peaceful vacation experience. We stayed in house #54 which is one level-we all over 66. The house was clean, well stocked and we had a view of the lake. I was very impressed with the facilities, which had something for everyone. There was a small pool for children and another...

My family, 65+, hosted our annual family reunion at the CBR resort and had a blast. Great property management, amenities, and beautiful houses. The community was very welcoming and the Friday night street party was a hit with the kids. Our family rented a total of 9 houses and spent much of our day in the water. Wonderful weekend.

The resort is great! We stayed in house #34 and it was clean and very well stocked. Just a FYI for that house.. There are 3 levels (lots of stairs). The kitchen and main living area are on the 2nd floor with 1 bedroom. There is a backdoor access to this level to avoid some of the stairs. We were...

Thank you so much for spending your family vacation with us. I must say you are correct the water was very choppy during your stay. The wind blew for 4 days strait which is very uncommon for that time of year one of the thing that Weiss Lake is known for is calm conditions of the lake for most of...

My family came to spend the week of our family reunion and stayed in House #10 "Paradise Found". The house and furnishings were well cared for, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. Sitting on the porch overlooking the mountains and lake was an activity in itself. I think it was my favorite part. The porch has rocking chairs, a granite topped table...

We stayed over Memorial Day at the campground at Chesnut Bay and had the best time ever. Even though our stay started out a bit rough (campers DO NOT try to go under the bridge! The entrance is on the OTHER SIDE of the road), the owners and management of Chesnut Bay went out of their way to make sure...
