This was a real find for us. We had a small cabin with one bedroom/bath, kitchen, dinning room and living room. It had a large screened in porch. The TV was LCD and very large and modern. The kitchen was well equipped. You can walk to Fairhope from here (about .75 miles) and they are across a road from the...

We love this place! We have been here 5 times over the last few years. Comfortable and funky in a 1960's kind of way. Miriam and Ralph are the proprietors and are very nice folks. Right in Fairhope just a few yards from the bay. The only minor issue is they only take cash or personal checks.

This is our second year in a row staying here. I *definitely* would have avoided this place the second go-round, but seeing as accommodations were provided by my husbands family, I didn't have much say. These places are disgusting. Last year, I cringed as my barely walking toddler was walking/crawling on the dirty floor. Fool me once, shame on you....

What's not to love? Instead of a hotel room, you get a cottage with screened porches to sit on at night. Our dogs enjoyed being able to go from the cottage onto the closed in porch. Peaceful place to walk the dogs. This is our third visit and everything is always clean, from the linens to the floors. We love...

We stayed March 19-24 and it was the best place we have ever stayed . It was very calm and quite . Myhusband found so much joy and peace just sitting outside and looking at the bay . I will always remember this trip because my husband passed away unexpectedley the day after we got home . I will go...

We stayed for 3 nights since they were only ones in Fairhope that were "dog friendly". The decor is definitely garage-sale, but it was clean. Shower was hot! Beds not too comfortable, but management was very friendly and helpful. ACROSS THE STREET FROM BAY, PIER, and WALKING PATHS!!! We enjoyed our stay, & found that " location" & "dog friendly"...

We have been visiting Fairhope for 25 years luckily staying with family. Since all the family has passed away we were faced with finding a place to stay. We wanted to bring our son and family to see the town again--plus we now have a dog. Our cottage was a 2 bedroom with a deck in front. You can sit...

What no WIFI!!! What no cell phone reception!! What no phone in unit!! No hair dryers. Terrible mattresses. Very dirty sofa and recliner (with cigeratte burns). Very, very nice owners!! Linens have so much fabric softener that they are soft and smell good, but are not absorbent at all.

We made our second trip from Mississippi to Oak Haven Cottages this past weekend. I am paranoid about staying in hotels because of all the Dateline shows about hotel cleanliness, but I can assure you that Mrs. Miriam has these cottages spotless - immaculate. She is a very friendly, sweet lady. The linens are snow white and smell so fresh....
