I stayed at this hotel during the WC, at the end of June, 2014. The prices were very high at this time, so I did not feel it was a good value for the money, but at the normal rate, which seems to be about R$150 a night, I think it is a decent value. The room was basic and the bathroom small, but it had everything I needed. The breakfast on the rooftop was a good Brazilian breakfast, that included some hot, cooked options. The breakfast is served on the top level and has nicer views. The staff was mostly friendly. The wifi did not work well in the rooms. Seemed to be better in the lobby. The bathroom would get wet after showering. There was some sort of leaking between the shower and the bathroom. The bathroom was my least favorite part of the room. I would say the best thing about this hotel is the location. It's close to the beach and good places to eat and drink, and easy to get a taxi or public transport. The street is pretty quiet and safe. Overall, it was fine, but very much a budget type hotel. No frills.…
This hotel is close to the beach, but this is the only advantage you will get. The rooms are old and the mold smell is very strong. Additionally, the wall are too thin and you will be disturbed (a lot - unless you´re made of stone) by the noise that comes from the elevator (you will hear it every open and close of the door) and from your neighborhood. The fares are not worth the hassle. With little more search you could do better choice.
