We visited Kolkata in the month of March 2016 and we had a great stay at Rossa Guest House. From the moment we arrived, the staff took great care of us. I was traveling with my parents, and they are are finicky about the bathrooms and washrooms. We were very satisfied with the cleanliness of the bathroom, and whenever any...

We stayed in Rossa GH for 2 nights, in a simple room (no deluxe or super deluxe). They charged us 2000Rs/night + taxes = 2300Rs per night. Although I must agree with others about the nice, quiet & green location (although far from the city centre), as well as the friendliness of the staff, I don't understand why reviewers are...

We were a group of 18 family members and had taken 8 rooms for two nights. Some interior work was going on the ground floor, but rooms were fairly new, slightly gaudy in Colour inside but value for...

Stayed here for about three nights. It is a B&B - a few rooms made available in a house for guests. The place is clean and well maintained. The staff are pretty helpful and provide good service. The food here is tasty but quite expensive - both breakfast as well as dinner. With Raj's assistance, we were able to sample...

This guest house is clean, quiet, and functional, which is more than can be said for many of Kolkata's guest houses. The manager is not on site, and extended or detailed communication with the on-site staff can be a problem unless one speaks bangla. The directions are a bit misleading. The house isn't at all "opposite Central Park" - instead...

MJ and I stayed here in late November as we were in Kolkata for a friend's wedding. From the moment we called Raj saying we would be arriving and he offered to have a Taxi pick us up. Little did we expect he would be picking us up himself in the middle of the night due to our delayed flight....

My friend and I stayed in a room for 4 days. This is a house is in a residential neighborhood, so it felt like we were visiting a cousin or friend's house, not at a commercial hotel. The accommodation was basic and modest. The floors and appliances were clean, and staff was there to help if we needed anything. They...

“For now the rooms facing the main road on level 2 could be better as common dining room is on level 2. In future we were advised that a restaurant on the ground floor is coming up. In that case rooms facing the road on 1st floor would be better.”
