Are you looking for peace? for something in the nature? something far from the noise of the city? Don't look further! Tathagata Farm was one of the best experience I've had so far in India. Something really different, in total connection with nature, quiet, peaceful. No TV, no WIFI... Just the right place to disconnect for a while. The room...

Situated 8km from Darjeeling 'city centre'. Was it too far out? Would we be in the middle of nowhere? Tathagata Farm is perfect. We were travelling as two families with children aged 10, 9, 8 and 7. Tathagata gave us all freedom, space, peace, great food and FUN! The children loved the hands-on experiences that Navin and his team let...

My girlfriend and I were umming and arring about where to stay in Darjeeling and after much deliberation we took the plunge to stay at Tathagata. I can honestly say we were both delighted with our choice. Due to an 8 hour delay with our train we didn't arrive until after midnight. We were greeted with delicious local food which...

Tathagata is off the beaten track but there's plenty to do once you're there -- trekking, walking, lazing around the farm, enjoying the views, even joining in a football game with the local team. The home style food is simply delicious and just what you need after scrambling up and down slopes all day. The guides -- who are extremely...
