Being recommended by an older edition of a well known travel guide, I reserved well in advance a double room at Andy's. On the day I was supposed to arrive, I made 3 phone calls to let them know I was late. After a trip of more than 9 hours on busses, to cover not more than 150 km, I...

The views from the roof are completely unbelievable. The rooms are simple, with hot water in the morning, wifi 9-9 and are very good value. The staff are also very nice and helpful. There is also a good restaurant down the street (Sonam's) for breakfast.

Andy's became our home away from home in Darjeeling. Incredible views from rooftop, Mrs Gurung, her husband and her helper were all great in making our stay as nice as possible. The beds were the most comfy we had slept in our whole stay in India. We will be back soon...

Andy's was a brilliant place to stay with spacious rooms and great views! It was close to town and reasonably priced withsome nice sofas to sit and read. The owner, Mrs Hiring, was super sweet and friendly! Thank you very !much. Xx

I have stayed at Andys many times over the years and it is always the same, quiet, peaceful and very clean. Mrs Gurung lives on the top floor and is always ready to give information and advise for Darjeeling and beyond. Close to Chowrasta and great restaurants.

We stayed at Andy's for 5 nights in August. The price was higher than we expected (800 per night) because the have recently installed wifi but it was well worth it. The rooms were perfectly clean and there was a nice common area with a library. The owners were friendly and helpful, even telling us about a cheaper guesthouse. Thanks...

We called to reserve rooms, and were told by a woman that there were no rooms available for two days, and that we'd need to book somewhere else. Accordingly, we booked a room at Maya up the road for the first two nights. On coming back to Andy's, we had a young man and the owner's husband show us two...

We stayed at Andy's for 5 nights, it is absolutely spotless and the couple who own it are incredibly nice. Our hot water was quite erratic (but this seemed to be the case throughout darjeeling) and there were a couple of power cuts. It was a lovely place to come back to, away from all the jeeps and noise. There...

The view of the Himalayas from the rooftop is amazing, even though it was a bit cloudy during our stay. The guesthouse is spotlessly clean, quiet and well maintained. Our room was clean, but cold, and we had no hot water as the geyser in our bathroom didn't work. The room is basic, but good value. The guesthouse is located...

The rooftop views at Andys are unreal! Instead of going to tiger hill, we watched the sunrise and sunset from their roof. Clean room as comfy bed. No heating although we very rarely found places (hotels as restaurants) that did have heating. Matilda is a sweetie!! Overall a great spot close to chowrasta and away from all the hustle bustle
