The hotel is small, quite and the staff is pleasant and friendly. The rooms are spacious and clean. There is a nice rooftop where you could enjoy, chill and relax. Nearby places to eat, drink, shopping.

It may not be luxurious but the warmest of welcomes makes up for it . Spotlessly clean in a shabby peeling way . The whole place exhudes charm and romantiscm, calmness and tranquility from the chaos of Chennai streets. The cold showers are exillerating , the beds are adequate and basic but I would go back repeatedly. The court yard...

The hotel is very large and really quite impressive. It has a lounge area with a tv and an amazing rooftop where you can watch the sunset! The staff is friendly enough but firm in their prices. I paid 450 for a single room which is fair for the size/cleanliness. You can pay additional to have wifi for the day.

If you wanna know how a typical old chennai house looks like, this is the place for you. Everything is neat and clean. And the staffs are friendly. You can meet travelers around the world here. Only downside was i didn't get any bill after paying!! That's suspicious.

This is definitely not the cleanest place in India. There is a lot of charm in this old guest house. A maze of corridors, stairs and patios. The rooms are unequal in quality, so you'll have to check a few before settling on price and your choice. Watch out, after agreeing on the price we were charged an extra 50Rs...

I stayed here for 1 night and it was great! The building is so unique and huge (ex-palace for a king), I spent a good half an hour exploring and it has a good view from the rooftop terrace. There is a social area with TV but to be honest you can chill anywhere. Raja (a member of staff) was...

we came directly to broadlands from the airport. I was impressed with how promptly they had answered my emails . they showed me 2 upstairs rooms , they were 600 rs / 700 rs . those rooms were huge, with seating areas and seemed very hot ! so I choose a cheaper room on ground floor close to reception ,where...

The staff is very helpful and there is a man who will grand get chai and coffee in the morning for you. He is very sweet and a character. Broadland is a great place for a long or short stay. There is no AC but they will offer fans and make sure you are comfortable. While I was here, there...
