Saba Haveli is a old heritage hotel. It's an interesting building with very worn steps which could cause an accident. I nearly slipped once or twice. The rooms are large and furnished in tradiiional style but a lot of the furniture is just old, worn out stuff not genuine antiques like other heritage hotels. They don't match the photos on...

Saba Haveli has a magnificent look in the Jaipur city. While coming from Delhi, we decided to stay at this Hotel. The entrance is marvellous, as we entered the Hotel it gives a feel of royal Indian heritage. The Haveli is over 250 years old as told by the owner but it is perfectly well kept and maintained. We stayed...

The Saba Haveli is tucked away on a side street near a gate to the old city. The exterior is not a good first impression, however once you immerse into the atmosphere of historic relevance, the place assumes a whole new aura. The common areas are welcoming and refined, even though refurbishing is still underway. The rooms however, are the...

We were given two connecting palatial rooms on third floor. No elevator but we did not mind. The building is 270 years old and does not look like much from outside. The rooms with their traditional Mughal inspired furniture doors and marble work are the prize. The food was modestly priced (dinner $17 per person with drinks). Breakfast included in...

Ignore the approach to this property as it doesn't appear to be in the most attractive of areas. However, as soon as we entered the building we were smitten. We were given a very warm welcome and when we were shown our room, we were completely 'wowed'. It was lovely with a bed that must have been about 8 feet...

This Haveli is situated in a relatively quiet area of Jaipur. The owner, Sanjay Rai and his family live in the big haveli, and he and his staff are extremely kind and helpful. the rooms are big and comfortable. We were there during the Holi Festival and the family more or less accepted us as 'one of them', so we...

We have just stayed at this lovely Haveli where the welcome and service was impeccable. The rooms are large and very beautiful and extremely clean. Some of the Haveli is still being restored so the public spaces were not all as attractive and it lacked somewhere to sit and chill in the shade during the day. They do have a...

This place is just beautiful. Nestled in Gangapole in Old Jaipur, this place offers so much: beautiful, large, historic rooms that are every bit as nice as the luxury hotel Samode Haveli down the road (where I have also stayed), absolutely delicious food, and a reception by the owner and staff that is of a warmth and attentiveness beyond compare....

An Indian Haveli is an old fashioned residence on more than one level around a coutyard, which houses many families. The modern hotel type haveli is made up of extremely spacious individual units consisting of bedroom ( very handy if you have children, relatives or friens staying all together!) and equally spacious full bathroom. All white mable floors, ancient stencil...

While staying at the Samode, a pretty expensive restaurant, we found this one by accident. This is a hotel but they will serve a fixed menu dinner if you tell them at least an hour before. We also got a tour of the rooms and they are way nicer than the Samode (no pool, though). So if you are on...
