It was very good stay overthere rooms are very good its a huge property loved to go there with friends being a student it was very hard to get time and enjoy with friends on Sunday we gone in clarks amer jaipur we enjoyed so much very helpful staff loved to go there
First impression when you enter the hotel, the gate keeper or a security guard, an old retired guy checking the car just as a formality. Once you enter there is a beautiful garden with metal structure of horse welcoming you. Huge lobby and efficient young reception team to welcome you. The room number 519, good size of the room with a view of the hotel garden and skyline of Jaipur. The room had all the basic amenities, though I never switched on television. Good lighting, ideal bed cushions for me. The room needs updation of colour and better housekeeping. The floor was sticky and with strains. Bathroom was very much mediocre. Oddly designed bathroom shape having round washbasin which was hardly below the tap. Many times repaired washbasin was shabby. Basic toiletries were there. In the shower area there was no place for keeping soap and shampoo. Surprised! It's basic requirement. Room had no room service menu and details about the facilities in the hotel. Room bar was empty. Business centre in non working condition but the guy at the reception was good enough to give laptop to finish my simple two minutes work. Internet of 512kb mentioned but hardly working even at that speed. The breakfast was most basic with minimum options of food. Even in bread only one option of brown bread was available. As I understand, after Covid 19, hospitality industry is in shambles and due to that they are not able to maintain hotel. The tariffs are at the rock bottom, stand alone hotels are finding difficult to survive. Minimum staff, minimum service, minimum facilities, and so cutting corners. Hope this beautifully made property revives soon.…
The Clarks Amer was probably an excellent property, but poor maintenance makes lots of deficiencies conspicuous. It really needs some renovation. The main lobby smells of offensive malodour of cooking. The main banquet hall where we had a meeting was stinking uneasily. Rooms were spacious and with very good lighting, but the linen quality was not up to the mark. Breakfast buffet was also average. Staff were generally helpful. The location was quite near to the airport.
It’s not even a three star property but claims five star. And unique bar which discourages guests from drinking. Staff is very reserved! They regard your privacy so much that even for drinking water self service is advised. And the climax is if you order 6 dishes they will charge you for all but will deliver only five and will not respond at all about the whereabouts of the last one. So for a change if you want to experience how you feel when you get cheated , Clark’s Amer is the best option.
Stayed at Clarks Amer from 25th to 28th Feb. Would really like to commend the staff, they were extremely helpful and addressed all our concerns about the local travel within the city. Breakfast was well laid out and the food at Zolocrust, their in house restaurant was amazing. Would also like to thank Mr. Varij who was always available to help us.
