Had read about this in Fiona's "Love Jaipur" guide which is well worth buying but do it in India - $15 compared to $65 in Oz... It is very central but it's great plus is that you seem to be in a secret and quiet garden far from the madding crowd. A lovely old painted haveli. We had booked and... More

It was a two day and one night visit to this haveli (old mansion) converted to a hotel. It has nice lawns and lot of outdoor space (which requires more maintenance). Good entertainment in the evenings with Rajasthani folk songs and dance to give a flavour of the local culture to the tourists. Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are... More

Our train arrived before dawn so when we arrived at the Diggi Palace, things were dark and a wee bit cold. We had reserved rooms for the evening before our arrival so there was no issue with checking in at this early hour. The staff quickly handed out keys and our luggage was wisked off to our rooms. This haveli... More

Stayed 2 nights in February. Great first impression on arriving by bus. Great example of a painted haweli with a nice garden and great rooms. On arriving we had some snacks after the long bus journey; the menus were pretty basic, the food quite over priced an not great to be honest. Waiters got orders repeatedly wrong. A pot of... More

A lovely haveli a little off the beaten track. The staff was uber accommodating, the grounds were expansive and relaxing, the rooms also large and clean, and the food was wonderful! It was a fantastic spot to get away from the bustle that is India! Highly recommended!!!

I stayed at Diggi Palace Hotel with two friends for the duration of the Jaipur Literary Festival. As the festival is held at Diggi, there were thousands of people at the venue during the five day event. In spite of the crowds, the staff at the hotel maintained an air of calm order and exceptionally good organisation. My friends and... More

Stayed at the Diggi Palace during the Jaipur Literature Festival, for second year in a row and loved the atmosphere, the service, the location (close to the old city, easily accessed by auto-rickshaw).
