we have just returned from a 10 day block printing holiday in Jaipur staying at the Megh Niwas - we were a group of 23 creative ladies. We all felt very much at home here - it is run by a wonderful couple who treasure attention to detail. The most important aspect of staying here is that the food is...

A quiet heritage style hotel, probably once a small palace. Large clean room, marble floors, furnished with heavy dark period pieces and interesting historical art on the walls. Large and comfortable bed. Plenty of hot water in the ensuite bathroom. Pleasant and helpful staff, right on the spot to take our bags and call a rickshaw to take us into...

I imagine Jaipur is noisy at the best of times but during Diwali it was crazy and we were so glad to have this lovely peaceful hotel to return to at the end of the day. Our room was a clean spacious twin ensuite at the side of the hotel with a roof terrace conveniently just across the corridor. That...

We spent 3 days at Meghniwas and had a great time. The service was attentive, the rooms clean and cheerful and the owners are delightful company. Our children were especially fond of the spaniel! We felt thoroughly at home and it's well located to be a base for Jaipur sight-seeing. My wife left some clothes behind and they were kind...

Very well maintained, clean hotel with very large rooms. Lovely gardens with large pool which unfortunately we didn't have time to use but it looked beautiful. We were there during the Diwali celebrations which made our stay even more special as the proprietor included the guests and handed out treats. We were a group of 2 couples, and one of...

The accommodation is excellent (we had a huge room); the service is superb. When my wife arrived at the hotel suffering from "Delhi belly" the proprietor immediately insisted on preparing a lemon salt drink to assist in replacing electrolytes. The remainder of the staff were equally friendly and helpful.

Such a relaxing environment to stay in just a few minutes from the craziness of central Jaipur. A great stay with genuinely friendly and helpful staff, and the opposite to some of the impersonal "luxury" hotels which are twice the price with half the service. This is a family-run, very clean and incredibly friendly place. Great food, very cheap and...

My wife and I stayed for four nights and enjoyed it very much. We had one of the larger rooms and it was huge, clean, and comfortable. The family running the hotel was very nice and extremely helpful. The food was good and we enjoyed the outdoor seating. Short tuk-tuk ride from the Pink City. Definitely a great value.
