Hotel structure is good. It really shows a very culture of India from the outside and an indian theme interiors in every room. Despite of the very very breathtaking building, the service is very very disgusting. The moment we stepped in front of the reception, we were not greeted like how the other hotels do by the receptionist. So we...

This is a perfectly adequate hotel frequented by lots of young people on backpacking type holidays as well as a few of the more mature travellers (which includes me). As we drove through the streets leading to the hotel the filth, piles of rubbish, animals and throng of people made my heart sink. I had been in India for over...

The palace was absolutely beautiful and the rooms were beautiful decorated. The hotel has a nice garden with swimming pool and offers some good food. The rooms are basic but that's also the charm of the hotel.

Visiting the "Pink City" a stay in the Bissau Palace Hotel is a must. The hotel is located in the Old-Town and gives you a perfect hideout from the vivid city-live. The former family palace will give you an impression of how live used to be in the times of the Maharajas. The rooms are beautiful and the staff always...

The Palace is beautiful, especially the dining room and common areas. We stayed in room 201, which is supposedly a Royal Chamber. It was like a tiny suite. Beds had only a cotton sheet and we found a duvet in the cupboard and the duvet cover clearly wasn't fresh. Food is bad. Tea is good. Shower is mediocre. The power...

We stayed there over New Year - lovely hotel - the staff are really friendly and will do anything for you. We had a room on the first floor overlong the courtyard and it was perfect - not noisy and right near the reception area where everyone congregates as its the only place to get wifi! Lots of areas to...

This hotel is an old palace that has been converted into a hotel. Due to this all the rooms are different. I stayed here for two nights as part of a tour and it was interesting to see how the rooms varied - some were just a simple bedroom with bathroom, whilst others had sitting rooms that opened up onto...

This is the old Jaipur residence of the Bissau royal family, full of wonderful old memorabilia, books and so on. A haven of peace in a very noisy city, with helpful staff, an excellent swimming pool, and a fine atmosphere. We paid a bit more and got a spacious room with fine wall-painting. Wifi is only available in the central...

2006 - i was serenading my girlfriend when I first stayed at Bissau - beautiful property. big rooms - lots of nostalgia from the times of kings and their palaces. Cut to 2016 - back with two kids and family. Everything is the same except for the food. I don't know how can a place like this not find a...
