Nice and cheap and very well located in the south of Mumbai. Staff were friendly, fan in room so so loud, it woke me up a few times. Beds were alright as were showers, wifi worked great and staff helpful organising us a taxi to airport and Dharavi slum tour. Average hotel but worth it for location and price

Started with strange confusion of the staff that even I booked twin room , if I am single person checking in , they tried forcing me to go in single bed cabin. Upon insisting to correctly interpret the booking and giving logical explanation, then got my twin room. Room has fans only and are dependent on the central cooling systems'...

Had to shift from Economy version(sharing toilet & bathroom) to Deluxe version after paying Rs. 1,000/- extra at the reception. Service was great; locality was good in terms of connectivity to airport, other business centres.... The staff at reception were prompt in their services.

I called the hotel to check that I would be able to share a room with an male Indian friend. I very clearly asked the guy on the front desk and was told it would be fine. Upon arrival, we were told that no, the hotel doesn't allow non-married couples to share a room. Clearly the guy on the phone...

We recently got married so did not have the marriage certificate. The staff did not allow us to check in instead of having all proof of marriage. I had to complaint in the MIDC police station, after that they did allow us to stay.

We stayed in this hotel after arriving late at night (2 a.m.). The taxi which took us there couldnt find the exact location, bug managed in the end. The door from the street was closed so we thought: "well this is where we are gonna spend the night, on the street". After getting in, we found, that the actual hotel...

Still not bad, but certainly not the cheap go to, as LP suggests. Big enough rooms, clean, and friendly staff. But overpriced for what it is. Breakfast was meager, but it still is included. Good hotel, just don't expect it to be a budget.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The hotel is designed to make your stay comfortable and relaxed after you have returned to your room from a busy day at work or after taking a tour of the city's finest offerings. Easily accessible from the Airport, Western Express Highway, Eastern Express Highway, and the nearest railway station at Andheri, Hotel Traveller's Inn is located in the most convenient location possible. We have evolved with time, we have learned that our guest are mostly foreign tourist, managers, trainee and new recruits of large organisations who want a comfortable stay at affordable price. We do not encourage facilities that increase the cost of the room. Our aim is to provide Budgeted accommodation along with the best we can provide without affecting the budget of the guest of Mumbai." We at Hotel Traveller's Inn have fixed tariff throughout the year, even when the hotel does 97% occupancy you can still get a room at the same price as you would get if it hadn't sold a room that day. We do not believe in changing rates as occupancy increases. The rooms are mainly of 2 types. 1st category has 36 AC rooms with attached bathroom. All the rooms in this category have 2 single beds. 2nd category of rooms has 23 economy rooms. First time ever in Mumbai, this types of rooms are available with the same comfort of the AC rooms for half the price. Economy rooms have 100% privacy, personal TV, and a fan. External bathroom facility with ample number of bathrooms and toilets reducing the waiting time to almost nil. The bathrooms are kept neat and clean 24/7. ... more   less
