My taxi driver told me the hostel I wanted to stay at was closed and instead took my to this hotel via a 'tourist agency'. The tourist agency tried to charge me an absurd £70, claiming that large areas of Delhi were closed due to a festival, and told me that I could pay him directly to avoid paying additional...

This was the filthiest, dirtiest hotel I have ever seen! We were forced to stay there as part of a scam they are running with a nearby 'Tourist Information Centre' and the pre-paid taxi service from the international airport. They also charged us 1,500 rupees for 2 waters and 2 beers. The whole time I was there, I felt really...

We enjoyed our stay at this nice hotel. It was close to the market. It was nicely priced and it was worth the price. Not 5 star, but not a 5 star price either. There was a nice park to walk in to the west of the hotel.

we had 2 stays here although I am unsure why we went back. Probably because they offered and confirmed a transfer from the airport for our second stay. However the car never arrived and as they already had our deposit we had to find our own way back. We also had a bad experience as wifi wasn't working so we...

I was there for one night at the beginning of my Rajasthan trip, then again one night at the end. It's in a quiet neighborhood, and the decor of the lobby and dining room is a sort of "Classic" for India. The room was fine. My only complaint was, the wifi wasn't working. The neighborhood is a mixed Muslim/Hindu area....

We booked the room late one night at the hotel Blue Sapphire and we were offered a reduced price for the first night, which we were happy with. When we were checking out, it was a different receptionist who was working and he demanded that we should pay full price for the first night. We referred of course to our...

I arrived in Delhi, took a "pre-paid" taxi and to make a long story short I was taken to this hotel exhausted after being repeatedly lied to about the availability of hotels in Paharganj at a "tourist center." The hotel will charge you 3 times more than what is advertised in this site. Please be aware of these scams especially...
