When planning our trip to India we decided to allocate most of our budget to some of the land mark hotels in Rajasthan, rather than in Delhi itself. What we required, then, was a comfortable place to stay while we recovered from our flight. Shanti Home was this and unexpectedly more. Friendly, clean with good food (served on the roof)...

Staff were brilliant, they looked after the smallest details and were so welcoming. Rooms were unique, I felt like I was in one of the palace rooms from indiana jones but with Air Con. They also have roof top restaurant which is open 24 hours, which was great. It's in a very chilled part of delhi, so it's good to...

I cannot recommend this hotel and its staff highly enough. We initially booked here for a few nights at the end of our vacation before flying back home, and found the hotel staff to be incredibly welcoming and considerate. The food was excellent (one night my children and I had great fun learning to cook a 4-course meal in the...

We really enjoyed this boutique hotel for a few days, but a lo g time wouldn't be good, since it's so far put of Delhi. It had great food, acceptable service, and nice rooms.

Once we got the room we reserved (superior category), everything went superbly well. Great restaurant (food and service) and roof top, nice room, quiet enough. Lovely decoration, sitting areas. We walked around the residential area round hotel and the really local markets, even in the evening. By car, it can take a while to get to the sights, we should...

The rooms are cramped and full of useless knick-knacks, the front desk staff is rude and unhelpful when asked about anything, including things that were wrong with the room, and the food takes forever to arrive and is not good at all. We switched hotels after 1 night. The most mind-boggling part of our stay there was dinner. My brother...

Our first stop in India, the Shanti Home was a perfect place. We have experienced a very high level of personal attention and genuine desire to make things happen , they really do listen, every single member of staff knows who you are and what your plans are so everything happens when you want it to, they genuinely seem to...

I was very impressed! Drivers were waiting right on time to pick up me and my family. I had cramps when I arrived at 4am and the receptionist immediately provided aspirin free of charge. The room was comfortable, clean and stylish, with lots of nice cultural touches and little snacks. When my family's driver was delayed departing by airport parking...

Stayed here for 2 nights and as a lodgings it was very good with clean rooms, comfortable beds and good size bathrooms. The shower set up is a sunken bath that you have to step up into and then step down into. If you are a bit unsure on your feet this could be a potential slip hazard. Breakfast was...

This hotel is brilliant, the hospitality is warm and welcoming and the food served in the rooftop restaurant is fantastic. The staff are all friendly and polite and they will go out of their way to ensure you enjoy your visit. The rooms are traditional in style ( I stayed in 3 different ones on separate visits) they are spotlessly...
