Stayed here before an intrepid tour and was very disappointed. The staff were disinterested and the only time I was ripped off was when they ordered a taxi for me that cost 4 times more than when I did it myself. Breakfast was extremely average, rooms very very tired ( even for India ) and facilities were basically nothing. Surprised that Intrepid still use this hotel.

Been to hotel Perfect twice, one night at the beginning of the tour, and one night at the end. The second time our room was better than the first time. Shower was hot, people was helpful, room was nice. I'm giving 3 stars because: rooms are freezing and there is no heating, rooms are extremely noisy (music on the streets never stop in Delhi and the dogs bark a lot during the night). I reckon it would be a better experience in the summer/spring and with earplugs on :)

Stayed here as part of an Intrepid tour. The rooms facing the street are extremely noisy. The other rooms a bit quieter. For a budget hotel it would be good in the warmer months but in December (especially as cold as it was this season) it was freezing and would have benefited from more blankets / space heater. The staff were very good. The bedding and towels need replacing.

Breakfast at this hotel was a joke on day 1
Was told not enough people in hotel so limited breakfast available. They actually went out to get omelette and some bread (not even toasted) and this was 30 mins later than expected which made me late for my tour. Stayed 2 nights and towels and toilet paper not replenished. Poor standard of English from.hotel staff. And had v noisy fan which could not be silenced so poor quality sleep. The only thing going for this hotel is a good location.

If you are reading this you are probably on a g adventures or intrepid tour!
Hotel is very basic, rooms are very tired and can be slightly dirty…
Away from the front street is a quieter location
But positives are Wi-Fi is good roof top terrace is nice and there is plenty of food options outside!
The front desk staff are really helpful over atms, or getting a sim (but buy this at deli airport when you arrive)

I concur about the start of the trip beginning at Hotel Perfect. No warm water, dirty, hard bed, poor AC, breakfast: salty eggs; burnt, hard toast, tea was decent. Cab and tuktuk drivers told us not to walk around at night. Despite this being a poor beginning, there was a hotel that made this look like 4-stars. The Hotel White Rose, in Kochi (28 day trip), was terrible for a start of the second part of the tour! One star rating per online, dirty, stained sheets, ants, mosquitos, NO hot/warm water, stained walls, no elevator, BED HARD AS A ROCK (several complaints online about the bed), curtains used as tablecloths, disinterested staff. It's time for G Adventures to reevaluate its accommodations. Many of the hotels on the trip were subpar, meaning lack of warm water, AC questionable, no WiFi in rooms, uncomfortable beds, lack of updated rooms, etc. Avoid the reputation of skimping on accommodations to make a profit.

Such a poor introduction to our India holiday. This hotel was not our choice, but where our tour group booked us for the 1st night, really don’t know why they support this place. And, silly me, I had added another night there before our tour started, and immediately wished I had not (but, is we’d stayed someone else, nice, we’d have refused to be put up here on arrival). In the grimiest, meanest part of town (we didn’t see worse), my husband and I almost refused to get out of the taxi when dropped off. Dirty floors, marked grey linen, no coffee facilities in room, rationed toilet paper, no air con (or not working) noisy outside and in (heard a woman scream in the corridor 1st night), broken bathroom fittings, screws hanging out of the wall, health & safety hazards ++. To top it off, my bank cash card and a 2nd card were taken from our room… I didn’t even report it, not sure who was in on that. As the title says - avoid as far as possible, and warn others.

I had the misfortune of staying in this very run down and dirty hotel for a couple of nights at the end of November. Like many others I was signed up for a GAdventures tour and this was the starting point. Very very disappointing!! I’m surprised GAventures are still using it - shame on them!
I have lodged made a complaint to GAdventures and would advise any one considering signing up for a tour to refuse to stay here.

I went to this hotel as part of a Gadventures tour. The rooms were dirty (there were lumps of food on my water try and balls of hair on the floor).

The bed was comfy enough and the facilities worked and the staff were friendly.

We were told that breakfast was 6:45 by the hotel (we were leaving at 7:30) but it was half an hour delayed which delayed our tour group.

Poor location, very noisy. Hotel was cold, damp and unclean. Hot water only available on request, on my final day I had to pad down to reception in my PJs to ask them to turn it on at 6AM. Unpleasant bookend to my tour. The only reason I have given this hotel two stars are for the staff who were very helpful and welcoming. The roof terrace is much nicer than the rooms and there is an OK restaurant round the corner, Hooter Restro & Bar.

Sorry can't advise as we do not know that local area. All I can say is that the second time we stayed and I think our room number was 201 at the back these rooms were much better.
