Aamaya B and B is a cosy stay tucked away in the Nizamuddin East neighborhood. Ruuma offers two rooms in her beautifully decorated home, which overlooks the local park. The B and B is close to lots of monuments and landmarks, and is right by Nizamuddin railway station. I stayed here as a solo traveller, and found this the perfect...

Ruuma offers a home away from home, in a quiet location close to Humayun's Tomb. She rents out only 2 rooms of her own house, so it could not be more cosy. Always with a kind word and ready to help, either with travel tips or ordering food. We even had the chance to have homemade indian food (on the...

I stayed at Amaaya with a friend for 3 weeks in August and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in Delhi. Ruuma is an excellent host, the location is extremely central, and the apartment itself is very comfortable and clean. In contrast to hotel environments, Amaaya felt very much like home and we looked forward...

Being taken care of by Rouma, the owner of this home stay, was a huge part of my successful vacation in India. Her place is comfy, cozy and centrally located, it's clean, personable and efficient as well. However, the biggest reason I would return visit here is Rouma's offering of guidance and general helpfulness. She consistently replied to my emails...

We spent few days in this very nice and clean B & B. Ruuma, the owner, was really kind and thoughtful. She helped us to arrange train tickets and gave useful suggestions. Neighborhood is quiet and very safe. Breakfast room is very well furnished with trees all around. That’s why we definitely recommend Amaaya.

1 Overview I lived in Amaaya for almost a month in the summer of 2014 for my first visit to India. I have to admit, staying there is one of my best memories of India. So I strongly recommend anyone who is looking for a wonderful accommodation experience choose Amaaya. I will go back if I visit Delhi again in...

We stayed here for 4 days at the start of a month long family backpacking trip. Ruuma, our gracious host, managed that fine balance of being very accessible/helpful, while leaving us our own space. She was also an indispensible local contact - providing 'insider information' eg. the best guide in Delhi (Bharak Kinger) who took us on a tour and...

Stayed at Amaaya guest house for only two nights wishing to avoid the impersonal sameness of the 5 and 4 star hotels and found exactly what I wanted to rest up before heading to the Mountains. In a quiet and leafy suburban enclave staying at the guest house is like staying with the kind of relatives you look forward to...

I stayed for 3 nights with Ruuma at her wonderful home after a 2 week tour of southern India, I had spent a long time reading reviews before I booked, as I was a solo female traveller, somewhere safe and homely was really important, and I couldn't have made a better choice than to stay at Avaaya. Ruuma is a...

It was my first trip to India and I was traveling solo. I had prepared myself for what was indeed a hectic arrival. Ruuma had arranged for a driver to pick me up at the airport and deposit me at her lovely home in the Nizamuddin East area of Delhi. Amaaya is as lovely as it looks on Rumma's wonderful...
