This place is exactly what the other reviews say... beautiful, romantic, quiet, awesome, relaxing, fun, and invigorating. Dave and Suzanne (and little Mina) are gracious hosts and run a top notch resort. This place is so relaxing and at the same time you have tons of things to do if you want. Like another reviewer also said... JUST GO, YOU'LL...

My wife and I recently stayed at Casa Cayuca and LOVED it! Dave and Suzanne were so gracious (Dave has a great sense of humor), the food was delicious (thanks Suzanne!), and the rooms were beautiful. We took two snorkel excursions and enjoyed a very personalized experience thanks to Dave and Jose.

We stayed at Casa Cayuco in an unusually non-rainy July which was perfect. I can’t say enough about the stay here. My family of 3 spent 5 days in the cabana next to the water. We spent the days swimming in perfectly clear water, kayaking, dining on the dock, and sleeping to the crash of waves. Top reasons why to...

Casa Cayuco was an amazing experience for our 16 students and 4 chaperones. We spent three days working on a service project with the Ngobe village. It was wonderful working side by side with them and truly getting a feel for their culture. Our day excursions were amazing, seeing dolphins jumping beside our boat was a first for most of...

Chances are you won't read this review in full so here are the highlights: - Dave and Suzanne (the owners) are super friendly and helpful - The accommodations are rustic but comfortable, very well maintained - The solitude of being on a remote island is hard to beat - It is gorgeous and no one else is aroud - The...

I have had the pleasure of staying at Casa Cayuco two summers in a row. I have led three groups of students (both college and high school age) on an academic/service/adventure trip where we were lucky enough to stay at Casa Cayuco. This location is idilic not only for its beauty and hospitality, but the eco lodge has a one-of-a-kind...

Let me start by saying the owners were great. The staff was wonderful. The excursions were interesting and amazing. The food was melt in your mouth delicious. (And I never really cared for fish before). They took us snorkeling and it looked like dr Seuss designed it. Zip lining through the trees 100 feet in the air was scary and...

I can't stop thinking of this place. Suzanne and Dave are amazing hosts and run a true eco lodge. It seems also they work together with the locals to support and improve the community. We traveled with our 3 kids; 2 teens and a 10 year-old. My girls are still talking about our great snorkeling trip and amazing meals--what a...

Where the heck to start?!! Casa Cayuco is an oasis. It is hard to imagine that a place like this exists and mere mortals can enjoy it. Suzanne and Dave are warm and inviting hosts. Suzanne and the girls in the kitchen out did themselves pretty much every night. One meal was better than the next. Do not miss the...

My husband and I just left Casa Cayuco and we already miss it. Everything was to perfection, the food, the accommodation and the island. Suzanne and Dave, the owners, are so lovely as well. They really went out of their way to make us feel special.
