We spent four nights at La Loma in April 2017 and had a tremendous time. It's in the heart of the jungle so the biting insects are real (bring plenty of bug spray!), but this didn't detract from our time at all. Our cabin was...More

It's not really a place to just go to the beach. They'll take you by boat if you want to go. I suppose you could spend your trip doing that, but La Loma is amazing for the adventures (Hikes, caves, snorkeling).

Thinking about coming here with a family of four (2 boys ages 13 and 10). Just one question: Would Mom and Dad get any privacy in any of the cabins or are all the beds in the same room?

No privacy- just mosquito netting. It's worth it though, amazing experience!!

Hello Friends at TA, I am hoping to make a reservation at La Loma in December and have emailed but have not heard back from them yet. Okay, so I just sent it yesterday and yes, they did say that they have intermittent email. Still, we are excited to go and I want to secure a room before they all get snatched up. Can anyone tell me how long it typically takes for them to email or is there another way to book? Thanks in advance!
