Can't praise this place highly enough! Perfect location right on Red Frog Beach with beautiful glamping in the jungle. Great food, reasonably priced and, above all, superb staff who care deeply about preserving the environmental balance of the island. Twice-daily yoga also available. Truly magical

Palmar Beach Lodge is the best spot to visit in Bocas Del Toro. Red Frog Beach is beautiful with great surf waves and exploration trails leading off to other beaches. Experience an abundance of animals, plants and waterfalls. Found myself in a forest of rainbow eucalyptus! Palmar lodge has beautiful gardens and lodgings. The walk from the water taxi to...

We came here twice to eat and hang out while staying at Red Frog next door. The vibe is warm and young -- most everyone here is under 35 (unlike us). The bar/restaurant area is relaxed and breezy with a gorgeous view of the water. The food is very good and not expensive, the drinks the same. Yes, the service...

We came over to Palmar for just one night as were staying on nearby Carinero for a few days. I absolutely loved it from the minute we arrived - the philosophy and vibe here really is unique and unlike anywhere else I've ever been, they've got it absolutely spot on. We had such a warm welcome and quickly found our...

After getting the overnight bus, then a water taxi, then waiting for another water taxi I was wondering why I didn't just go to a beach close to Panama city, but when I arrived at Palmar I was sooo happy I'd made the effort. It's so peaceful, right on beautiful Red Frog beach. I stayed in the dorm which was...

Me and my boyfriend spent 4 unfortgettable days at the Palmar Lodge, at Red frog beach. Our experience throughout was truly great: We stayed in one of the tents, and they were comfortable, clean, spacious and oh so cool! The food at the restaurant was really tasty and they also have brilliant happy hour. The beach is literally 20 meters...

My wife, 8-yr-old daughter, and I visited Palmar a couple of weeks before Christmas and enjoyed a wonderful 5 days/nights there. Advice from other visitors helped us prepare for tropical beach life there (stay barefoot, best way to dry damp clothes is to wear them, etc.) I had not spent that much time barefoot for many years, and the nice...

Absolutely loved the people here! The staff was so amazing. They have a great beach, and walking distance to 3 other beautiful beaches. The rooms are too perfect. The restaurant is so yummy. 100% chance i would go back here.

We visited red frog beach march 5/27 and came across this restaurant. We ordered multiple drinks and food at the restaurant. You need to ask for the bathroom key from the staff. The staff were very reluctant to allow us to use the bathroom key and repeatedly asked if we were staying at the hotel. Super bizarre after spending a...

Hi Kendo, This is part of our safety and water conservation policy. We are very happy to hear that it was carried out properly! Our staff did exactly what they are supposed to do. We are primarily an eco-lodge, not a restaurant (as indicated by the name). There are many reasons why we can't just let anyone use our toilets....

Don't stay in bocas town, it's charmless and ugly. Instead stay here on bastimentos and particularly at palmar lodge. The tents in the jungle are perfect, the food is great and you're right on the beach. This place also easily has the best, most friendly and welcoming staff of anywhere we have stayed in panama. The vibe is perfect.
