I had such high expectations for this hotel based on the photos on their website. And, I realize that those are professional photos, staged to make the rooms look their best. However, our bathroom did not in any way resemble the bathroom in the photo gallery on the website. First, It looked as if the person who put in our...

I made a last minute booking during the Panamanian "festive season", so hotels were very difficult to obtain after New Year's celebrations. The receptionist over the phone was able to accommodate me for 2 of the 3 nights that I needed, so with little option, that's what I did. The owner Tito, graciously picked up my sister and I from...

Unfriendly service. Bugs in room. Very expensive for what it is. Stayed in a few hotels in Bocas. This was by far the worst value. Would not recommend to a friend. Went out of my way to write review so people would know not to stay.

Hello. I wrote directly to you a couple weeks ago, trying to find out, exactly, which room you were and what happened during your stay, but haven't received any further information from you. We would really like to know what did you experienced. Additionally, I, personally, ran an inspection of several rooms and haven't find bugs of any type, so...

Good hotel with clean and airy rooms and very good service.in the center of Bocas town. Staff is very helpful to find respectable tour operators. Price is reasonable for the size of the room. Overall a good value.

We had a very nice stay at Bahia Hotel! I loved the big terrace upstairs with a view over the ocean (also where the breakfast buffet is served). The rooms were very clean and spacious! Safe, fridge to store own food/drinks, aircon, large bed and a great bathroom. The staff was nice and helpful. We had to go very early...

gerente, darla, was a real sweetheart. booked thru booking.com, and she had a better rate for us using our pensionado discount. she could have made more money, but gave us the discount, even though it meant her writing a check to make up the difference! i was astounded! the hotel is lovely, really old architecture, hardwood floors. we stayed upstairs...

beds were comfortable and rooms clean, good a/c and lighting. very noisy.Noise from bar across the street from 11pm til 3am. Rooms 206 &208 are next to dishwashing kitchen, so that noise starts at 7am. even rooms face side street, odd face wall of hotel next door. Reception consistently unfriendly, behind bars feels like a flop house.

we checked in with no problem, staff is semi-friendly. they offer breakfast included with hotel stay, but only for 2 hours (7-9am): coffee, milk, cereal, fruit, ham/cheese, toast. Very clean and no mold smell. AC worked perfect. Hotel charges beach towels fee, not much but they charge without telling you. Hotel is nice and quiet. The bed was more of...

We stayed in both an upstairs ( renovated) and downstairs ( unrenovated) room. Downstairs room was dark and musty. It also had a weird air fresher thing that would spray stuff periodically. We lost power I. The whole hotel lost power one morning and the darkness made it very difficult to find anything as we packed up to move rooms....
