Unique location with stunning view. The rooms are rather small and the meals timing are regulated. The surrounding views are beautiful especially with the low clouds.Totally nothing to do at night. The breakfast is reasonable and the rooms are clean
You can see from the photo what an ugly building this B&B is. Full on tacky faux European architecture and dreadful decor. Looks like your aunt's ugly 1970s house whose façade hasn't been cleaned or painted since then either.

Location – There are four buildings. Blocks A and B are uphill and have better views. It is not walkable to the sights but there are free shuttles to the bus station where you can take the regular buses to the sights.

Me! I took the high speed rail from Taipei to Taichung and switched to a private mini van transfer. I can't recall the exact time taken but I think it probably took 5 hours altogether. Manageable I guess. Pls don't take the public bus transfer to or from Cingjing, it's very jerky and ventilation is bad. Hope this helps.
