The hotel is right beside the pier and adjacent to the shops and restaurants of the lake. The view from the lake facing room is well equipped, and has the most stunning view of the lake. Highly recommended!

if you asked me will i stay another night at Sun Moon Lake, i will definitely say no as i think a day trip to Sun Moon Lake was good enough for me. However, this hotel was good and if you were to stay in Sun Moon Lake, i would recommend it. The view from the room was nice. The...

This little hotel is situated fabulously on the water front of one of the small towns on Sun Moon Lake. The views of the lake are up close and personal. Our room had a small balcony which was great to sit out on the the evening and look across the silent water. Room itself was large and comfortable. Good bed....

The hotel is a small boutique hotel just a short walk away from Shuishe pier. We had the room on the lower floor and it was 2-stories. Spacious with luxurious finishing in the bedroom and bath with Hermes toiletries. No lift though, so carry your own luggage up and down the stairs! Bicycle rentals are just a walking distance away....

This was our second stop on a twelve day trip around Taiwan. Sun Moon Lake is very touristy, and the surrounding area of this hotel is busy; however, after going around the entire lake via car (only takes about 1.5 hours or so), I think this location is the most convenient. You can walk to convenience stores, restaurants, and Starbucks...

We had a wonderful stay with Spa Home at Sun Moon Lake! Do not be fooled by the exterior look of the building, the inside is gorgeous! Our room was super clean, modern and very large. Not to mention we had our own private balcony overlooking Sun Moon lake! Watching the sunrise from the balcony was magical! The location of...

As title. ^^ Hope the host doesn't mind my saying. It's just adorable. And great that they make it a hotel that everyone could share the scenery and convinience. No matter to stay inside or to walk outside You're gonna love it I love when I can be a part of the mist of the lake So without me

Spa Home is listed as a boutique hotel but it operates more like a bed and breakfast. We booked a Premium Double Room. The room is relatively clean but you can see signs of wear and tear on the furniture and appliances. There isn't a lift available so you'll have to take the stairs up (the building is only 5...

Don't be deceived by the exterior! This hidden gem of a boutique hotel has 9 rooms, and we booked the 2 level family room with the spa bathroom, 2 king sized beds, large balcony and a mahjong room. Nice luxury touches with Hermes toiletries, Illy coffee in the morning, and modern decor. Cons are that 1) the large family room...

“Choose the floor just below or above reception (which is ground floor but in Taiwan & China, this is referred to as Level 1). There are no pottering staff to help you with luggage as the reception was staff with the same young lady during office hours only).”

“Don't be fooled by the name of this hotel. It is a tat far from luxury. Get the bigger room on Level 2. Basement Level is quite small but it has a balcony with nice views. Aircon unit is noisy when at maximum. Bedsheets look old with some slight stains. On agoda, the pics look great. the interior of the room looks great however it is too pricy for what it claims to be - a luxury hotel. However, it has great views from level 2, even the view from the basement is not that bad either. Breakfast is tasty though limited in choice but it seems like this is the way breakfast is served in Taipei in general. Other than that, it's too pricy for what it's worth. However, if location and views are important to you vis-a-vis room comfort level, then go for it. In Sun moon lake, people are limited by choice and the hotels in that area seems to need a refurbishment.”
