We booked this property for our last days in the island. Writing this to explain that we already slept in many accommodations in the island (in total 14 nights) This hotel was giving the option for Credit Card payment, plus was near beach and a HOTEL. Well... Room was ok but soundproofing is terrible. Room was clean, but just the room. Every other place in this hotel was dirty and stayed dirty for our whole stay. Are you thinking of booking breakfast? Please DON'T! VERY poor breakfast and it takes them 40'to bring you 4 toast bread. Scrabbled eggs? Go buy yourself and cook it yourself. They brought us coffee after we finished eating and after asking for it twice. What a shame. Our last experience in Sri Lanka to be this hotel. Run away.

Its located in one of the most beautiful areas of Sri Lanka with magnificent sea view. When me and my wife arrived, we were impressed with quality of rooms for the money you spend. Do not think about that hotel as of 5 star luxury destination, no. However its very cozy and comfortable. Beach access with restaurant right on the shore looks beautiful. Staff team is friendly and smiles most of the times) Breakfast could be better, because when it's included you have to select from set menu, which is very small. But service team was flexible with requests and tried to make our stay memorable. HK team was doing great job, these guys were surprising us with cleanliness every day. Lady on the reception deck was very polite and attentive to all our requests, helped us out with some tours around the area. Overall, for the money you pay - its a very good place to spend you vacation.

This hotel looks on the first glance not as one the usual traveler can afford. And during the high season the price attracts usually better situated people although - to be honest – the hotel does not meet the expectations. During low season it’s a completely different story. Prices are affordable and the staff is doing its best to meet the standards a hotel in this category should offer. So the standard traveler is at a glance not the one standing in line for the shared bathroom but sitting at the beach being served coffee, fruits and a nice breakfast. The rooms are not very big but clean and with a hint of luxury that once was there. We preferred the ones not looking at the beach because they had a balcony while the beach-view rooms didn’t. For that we sacrificed a bath tub (standard in beach view). Bathrooms are spacious and clean. Rooms are equipped with AC, fridge, water kettle, tea and coffee and a TV which never worked during our stay. The whole building shows the detrimental effects of salt water and time limiting the feeling to be in a real „luxury“ hotel. The included breakfast is served at a nice spot directly at the beach. Staff is very friendly, special whishes are fulfilled promptly but the service was quite slow. We did not take lunch or dinner at the restaurant. If one wants to eat outside there are plenty of good spots nearby. The beach is nice and quiet (in low season) but with big waves. There was a swing hanging from a palm that our kids used abundantly. If you arrive by car, there is a (very) spacious car park on the hotel ground. Tangalle town centre is within walking distance (max 10 min), small shops or supermarkets are on the street just outside the hotel. The whole staff is very friendly. Especially the receptionist was very helpful and played a lot with our children. Summing it up we were really happy to have walked in and had the guts to ask about the price because we had really cool days in a surrounding not typical for travelers used to Hostels. If one is used to the usual standard in this category there is a good chance of disappointment.

My parents stayed here last week for a day. The room is average and nicely maintained. The only problem they has was there were no bathroom essentials such as bath soap and towels. They had to request for them everytime they needed something. Other than that, as per my parents, the hotel can be stayed at.

Clean and fresh room with AC and hot water in the shower. Straff helpful in all situations when we asked for something extra. Lies right at the beach with a couple of sunbeds for guests. There are plenty of restaurants within a couple of minutes of walking.
