The hotel is located quite remotely towards the near end of Tangalle, with an amazing view to the sea and a pool that overlooks the ocean as well. During our visit the tides were too high to be swimming in the ocean, but the environment makes up for it. The service members of the hotel (Yamal, Kasun, Lahiru, Nalin and Shan) were absolutely great in taking care of us. It's impressive how neat and tidy the entire place is, we were walking barefoot during our stay, as many other guests were as well. The food quality and choices available are quite international, although I would personally encourage to try the local offerings in their menu. Most importantly, the prices won't leave a hole burning through your pocket, in comparison to the other options around the place. Despite the price, the rooms and the service are top-class!

Fantastic spot, right on the beach. Big spacious rooms ( get one overlooking the beach), very friendly staff, excellent food ( including fresh local seafood options). Don't be put off by the access road ( it is basically a rough dirt track). The destination is worth the journey. Highly recommended.

The hotel is located off a quiet beach. There are a small infinity pool and a restaurant right next to one another. Some of the rooms directly face the ocean. Some have partial views. It is clean, well maintained and landscaped. The room is plain and simple with big windows and a balcony. The bed is large and plush. The bathroom is also simple and functional. The food was great. Had dinner and breakfast(included) here. The staff are friendly and welcoming. There are a lot of insects that are attracted to lights at night. Make sure to open and close the door very quickly. The hotel does not provide an accommodation for driver if you travel with one (it is common in Sri Lanka to rent a car with a driver and many hotels do provide free food and lodging). The dirt road to the hotel is very bumpy. It might be wise giving yourself plenty of travel time to get to the hotel before it gets dark. I would definitely stay here again despite is remote location. It is worth the effort.

We visited Ananya on our trip around Sri Lanka in January 2020 and this was hands down our favourite hotel of the trip and favourite beach we have ever visited. This is a relatively small hotel on a huge swathe of pristine beach. I really can't sell how amazing this beach is - beautiful white sand and rugged land scape with only a handful of people around even in the high season. This meant it was really relaxing in the day time and the stargazing at night was incredible. The hotel itself is an absolute gem. The staff were incredibly attentive without bothering you and nothing was too much trouble. The food was was really tasty. We tried some of the seafood and the Sri Lankan food and all of it was really good. The pool was spotless and absolutely stunning. The photos of this hotel really don't do it justice. We had a sea facing room on the top floor of the hotel and the views were incredible. The room was huge with a lovely comfy bed and one of the best shower views i have ever had. If we are ever back in Sri Lanka this will definitely be on our list of places to visit!

Stayed here just one day. The hotel is very clean ,the staff very friendly , the pool sparkles. The meals are both western and sir Lankan by the guests choice Perched on a secluded pristine beach with its golden sands an ideal retreat for a quiet getaway. The only drawback was the approach road that was poorly maintained due to no fault of the hotel ,as the local municipality has not maintained the approach road.
