We stayed here a couple of nights and were a little disappointed. Rooms are ok but the owners were rather pushy with their own trips. Pricing for food was also rather vague when asked. Be careful to close the windows - monkeys can be problematic!! There is a huge hotel next door which has a loud club on the roof... More

Very nice and clean place. Good location away from the busy main road. We went on a trekking tour organized by the guy downstairs. We were very satisfied with the guide and the trekking experience. Recommended.

We spend 2 days at Expeditor Inn and enjoyed our stay. We travel with our 14 months old son and it was also a friendly place for him. Hospitality was great, we loved the lady of the house. She gave us great advice where to go and how to bargain at some places. As greedy Dutch we loved that. Only... More

This is a nice guesthouse with no thrills. The owner was a nice lady who was very welcoming and helpful, she advised us on several different travel options to depart from Kandy. There was also a nice friendly guy called Ravi, who was very friendly and helped as much as he could (given the language difference). The guesthouse itself is... More

We had a very straightforward stay. The rooms had doubled in price from that quoted in our rough guide to Sri Lanka (was 2500r now 5000r) which seemed quite a big jump but also seemed quite comparable with other local guest houses. Our room was comfortable.

This lovely guesthouse very close to the town (approx. 10 min walk) and very close to Kandy Lake. This was our second time to visit to the Expeditor Inn with my wife and our 16 year old daughter. It has had new rooms added since last visit and new rooms upstairs now completed with even better views up on the... More

We really enjoyed our 2 nights here! Despite what the reviews say we found the owners to be very friendly and helpful. Our room was great value for money and had everything we needed. We didn't eat there but had dinner at the nearby No Name restaurant which was nice. Would recommend this guest house if you're on a budget!

This guest house is conveniently located on Saranankara Road which goes uphill from Kandy lake. It takes LKR 250 from the train station to reach this place by tuk-tuk. More importantly, it is within walking distance of Kandy lake and the temple of the sacred tooth relic (which is the highlight of Kandy's tourist attractions). The rooms are fairly basic... More

This is a beautifully decorated guesthouse with a lovely view of Kandy and plenty of sitting space in the common areas. It feels like you're at home. It is located within walking distance of Kandy and the lake, as well as the clock tower bus stand. We stayed two nights, and our budget room was very clean and comfortable. The... More

The room we had was nice with wooden ceiling and windows on three sides of the room. The view was amazing over Kandy and had a balcony. The bathroom was not the cleanest we had in Kandy, in fact, a worm came out of the drain when we were washing (disgusting) but it is a very old building... We "boiled"... More
