Cozy and warm welcoming/ really nice place Just before our trip started we were in contact via mail with Sujatha's Homestay, everytime polite and ready to help with all our questions. Arranged pick up was fine. Our welcome was very warm with lovely couple Sujatha and her husband Roney. They provide a feeling that you have met them before and...

We only stayed for one night but thought Roney and Sujatha's home was absolutely beautiful and their hospitality great. We really enjoyed talking to the family. Delicious breakfast and the room was lovely and clean. It's about a 10 minute tuk tuk out of Kandy town but we were really glad of this! They were able to organise tuk tuks...

Sujatha and Roney are the true stars of this homestay. They are so nice, friendly and caring. We stayed here for three nights during the last day of the perahera. You are really staying in their home and they make you feel part of the family.. The rooms are clean and spacious, good beds. The breakfast is lovely, Sujatha made...

We have never stayed in a homestay before, and it was not until our arrival we quite understood the concept, but Roney and Sujatha were warm, friendly and very welcoming, and Roney told us several interesting facts of Sri Lanka, as he helped us plan our tours, and he recommended places to eat. He even learned our boys a Sri...

The property is in a quiet village outside of town. The owner was very welcoming. The room has all the requisite amenities. Delicious Sri Lanka breakfasts were provided. Main drawback is having to travel to town. This may not matter is you plan to make a day of your sightseeing, or you are being picked up by a tour operator.

Although its around 10 mins drive from town centre, the stay is nice. The owner is friendly. The room is clean, spacious and modern. You can walk around the small garden. The breakfast is good too. I recommend u should go visit mr rony if u stay in kandy.

Our stay in Kandy was a quick one – just one night, but it was nice to have a welcoming home base to return to after a day of traveling and sight seeing. LOCATION: Roney and Sujathas home is located a few km’s from the main town centre. We made sure our driver had the phone number to call ahead...

This was a great place to stay at the start of our trip. Very nice location, friendly and welcoming hosts Roney and Sujatha. Plenty of good suggestions for things to do. Nice garden to sit in. Bit of a tuk-tuk ride out of town, but not a problem for a few days stay, and location means it is nice and...

Roney and Sujatha made us feel welcome right from the moment we arrived. Their house is not the easiest place to find for most taxi/tuk tuk drivers so I strongly suggest that you have their phone number handy so they can give directions to the driver, when they are on Ampitiya Road. This is a real homestay not a guest...

I'm struggling to find the words to convey just how wonderful and gracious Sujatha's Homestay owners Roney and Sujatha are. We were hardly the most unobtrusive guests; arriving before 7am after an early morning flight into Colombo, with two small children who immediately made themselves right at home. As if that wasn't enough, we quickly discovered, in our bleary-eyed haste,...
