The Golden Rainbow is a wonderful guesthouse and a perfect base for discover the culture triangle. The rooms are clean and comfortable. It's provided a mosquito net, air conditioning and a ventilator. It's based in a calm area. You can relax on the terrace and watching monkeys in the bushes close to you. I can recommend the Golden Rainbow Guesthouse. The room I got was downstairs, had A/C, fan and mosquito net, and an ensuite bath w/shower. The bed, floor, and bathroom were immaculately clean, and the shower (warm water at all times) one of the best I have had in Sri Lanka (although you will get half the bathroom wet when using...

Perfect hotel with a very kind owner who wants to pick you up with his Tustin for free. This is the quietest hotel around, you don't hear any cars and it's close to the tamale caves. The rooms are cheap (1800 roepies) very big, clean and with hot water

Room is bright, clean and spacious. Shower and a/c are both good. Good wifi. Kumara is a great host, we were greeted with water and fresh fruit on arrival,...

The owner, Kumara, is very friendly and helpful, provided us with two very clean big rooms each with their own bathroom. Breakfast was really nice and he was happy to provide us an...

We arrived at the Golden Rainbow Inn after quite some hectic times in the cities in the south. The place is absolutely tranquil and you'll only be bothered by some monkeys. Very close to the rock temples (which is the only thing to see in Dambulla really). The owner couldn't be any nicer. Taking care of all our wishes. He...

It is a lovely little guest house with 2 rooms (one family one). It is off the main road completely surrounded by greenery. You are about 10 minutes walk from the temple on a tarmac road. The owner Kumara is very welcoming and accomodating. Wonderful!!
