We booked this hotel because it had a pool and we were traveling with 3 young kids. The hotel is located a little out of town, but easily accessible. The grounds are lovely and look out over a small lake. The kids enjoyed swimming in the pool. We stayed in a deluxe room with an extra bed for $59 BB....

This hotel is on the Kalundewa Road, away from hustle and bustle. It is nestled in some hills and right on a lake. It has a very nice pool, also by the lake. The rooms each have a private patio facing the lake, with a magnificent view of the surrounding hills and lots of beautiful birds to watch. The food...

Rooms were clean and tidy and the little porch overlooking the lake was great. Only thing was that the place is a little way out of town and we were the only guest and it kind of gave the place a creepy vibe.

MPS was a little gem, service was impressive, room rate very reasonable and room itself lovely. Good air con, no insects in room and comfortable bed. You are a little isolated, but to be honest that is not a bad thing, it probably enhances the place. You will not be disappointed if you stay here, the food is good and...

MPS is an idyllic place away from all the irritations of traffic in Sri Lanka. There is an amazing pool to cool off in, as SL is extremely hot - you will sweat constantly. The food is acceptable; the fruit supplied with meals is fresh and has so much more taste than the North American versions. The rooms are very...

MPS The four of us stayed 2 nights at the MPS. The "deluxe twin" we stayed are about 16 sqm with attached bathroom, and a big balcony (8 sqm.) overlooking the lake. Though the room are quite basic (we didn't have a chance to see their new "super deluxe rooms) - 2 small twin beds, a cloth hanger, a night table,...

We stayed in this hotel for the first 3 nights of our tour with Sammy, The small sign at the side of the road, MPS Village, made us wonder, never having been to this country before, we did not know what to expect. No need to worry though. The chalet style rooms are good, with an outside veranda overlooking the...

Every morning for two weeks I was totally spoiled by the staff at this hotel. The pool is clean and comfortable, the view is not to be believed. in the morning, have breakfast on the porch and treat yourself to some spectacular bird watching. Egrets! Peacocks! The kitchen staff know what they're doing, too. Man was I well-fed. You are...

Stayed for 2weeks at this place. Was doing a 2week program for Habitat For Humanity and was booked at this hotel. It is indeed a super relaxing place to stay at especially for 2 whole weeks. MPS Village is by the lake, with an infinity pool, a cricket field and beautiful landscape. All sorts of animal sounds were heard, there...
