I stayed 2 nights at this Hotel. I had booked a bungalow just facing the sea, which was very nice. The staff is, overall, pretty efficient and nice, and thet can accomodate special requests (I had dinner at night on my bungalow's terrace, it was great). The beach, though pretty, is a bit dirty (ok, let's be honnest, in some...

Stayed here for 6 nights. The room is basic and particularly in the bathroom there were a lot of insects. Some days the room was sprayed with insect repellant and other days not. Rooms are quite private. Security at the hotel didn't seem the best. Breakfast isn't the best but other meals are better. Pool is lovely although the sun...

I stayed at this great hotel for two nights during a vacation. The staff was very good even though my French was poor. They run a very casual bar which opens early and stays open late. They also have a good restaurant and you could take your food to the beach or the pool or your room if you'd like....

The room -the most expensive one-, was poorly refurbished, the key of the safe was missing and I never received a new one, the bathroom was poor and worn out, I had trouble to make cooling work properly, I had to repair the door handle myself, the breakfast was very basic, not even a piece of fruit, and that in...

Hotel Mermoz is a welcome retreat from the dust and busy streets of St. Louis. My colleagues and I stay there every few months while working along the coast. It's clean, rooms are spacious (at least the beachfront rooms are), the pool is wonderful, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. There is a bar with both tables on...

This hotel really needs to be fundamentally upgraded. The staff are friendly mostly. The receptionist was attentive and friendly. The prices are reasonable and we were upgraded to bigger rooms closer to the beach as they only had space for us for one night when we had requested two. The pool is tiled with those two-centimetre squared tiles and hundreds...

I stayed at the Hotel Mermoz for two weekends. I actually returned because I was really happy about their service and the staff are very friendly. However, during my second stay (the following weekend), a Thief opened my room at night with a knife, cut the mosquito net and came into the room I was sharing with two friends. The...

I just spent five nights at the Mermoz. I was working in the area, and it was a delight to return every evening to this peaceful place, where I could hear the waves gently breaking on the sand as I went to sleep at night (a nice change from New York, where I currently live). The wifi worked well (better...
