The Good: This is an economical no-frills type of hotel. The location was convenient (5-10 minute walk from the bus stop to Machu Picchu and the train station). The hotel has an elevator which was nice, especially when your completely exhausted waling around MP ruins all day. The restaurant on the top floor has good views of the town, but...

This is an economical no-frills type of hotel. We stayed here after doing the 2-day Inca trail and we were pleasantly surprised with the hotel. The location was convenient (5-10 minute walk from the bus stop to Machu Picchu and the train station). The lobby is airy and welcoming with a sitting area to relax. The hotel has an elevator...

We did the 2-day trek with Wayki Trek and they booked this hotel for us. the staff was very friendly, the room was nice. The TV had trouble turning off, but it was comfortable, quiet, had a good breakfast, and the shower was nice. They even kept our luggage for the day when we were at Machu Picchu. It was...

After camping for 3nights, this hotel was incredibly comfortable for one night. After booking a double room, we asked to be moved to a matrimonial which they did with no problems! Warm showers with soap&shampoo provided. Simple breakfast and friendly staff.

Nestled in the mountains Machu Picchu was a surprisingly wonderful town. Wiracocha was a small 2 star hotel located there but don’t let the 2 star scare you off. There are no 4 or 5 star hotels and the 3 star is so overpriced I wouldn’t even look there. This is a family owned hotel and directly on the river...

We upgraded our hotel as part of the SAS travel tour in Machu Picchu. Nice above Average room for the price. Though we stayed there only for a night the people who serve you makes a difference even if you have amenities not up to your expectation. The rooms are neat, with built in A/C unit and TV (if you...

We stayed here 1 night visting Macchu Picchu. The Inn is centrally located close to the river. The owners are very pleasant although the do not speak english. The accommodated us when requested late check out although they would allow against extra money. The beds are very comfortable and room size adequate

We went with SAS travel and being a little hesistant to stay at the hostel I opted to pay for an upgrade - but really wish I hadn't because the Hostel was about the same as this room. The room had no working telephone, the TV barely worked, the bed was ok, it had a safe that did not work...

This hotel is located in the center of Aguas Calientes (I refuse to call this town, Machu Picchu City which a bunch of slick marketers have decided to call it in order to attract more tourists to their teeny town. The town itself, like the hotel, is nothing to write home about, but it is good enough for the many...

Decent, clean hotel with friendly staff. Breakfast is basic but ok. Rooms are small but clean. All hotels in Machu Picchu are expensive and Wiracocha Inn is a good option if you have a low/mid budget.
