If you drive a Bentley you probably won't like this hotel, or of you're a 4 Seasons person who needs a personal assistant to turn down your sheets nightly.. If you're more simplistic and want to connect with yourself and the surroundings, immersing yourself in the culture you will love it. Located right in the middle of shops it's central...

Our Inca Trail guide booked this for us. It seemed otherwise empty. The entranceway was ok, the whole hotel was clean and roomy enough and the staff were welcoming but they missed the mark on a few things. Not enough soap in the shower, the shower was very finicky, not enough towels or glasses in the room ... that sort...

Hotel staff was great, especially Sara at the front desk. They made breakfast for us at 4:30 am before we went to Machu Picchu. The room is dimly lit. The shower has very hot water. This is a good place to sleep if you are on a budget and want to be as close as possible to Machu Picchu. The...

The staff were annoying, you had to leave your key with them every time you left and when you came back there was always a question. Rooms didn't have heating and were cold. The shower was good though.

I arrived in Aguas Calientes with the rest of my trekking group after a 4-day Lares trek, and stayed here for one night before visiting Machu Picchu. The hotel is nice, calm, the receptionists are friendly and the facilities are clean. The balcony door didn't lock and the shower water was lukewarm when everyone showered at the same time. But...

The travel agency that I booked with for Machu Picchu booked this hotel for me and I was a little nervous at first reading the reviews. However, when I got there, I was pleasantly surprised. There weren't that many people staying when I went so the front desk person let me choose what room I wanted to stay in, which...

Group tour with students. The people who work at the hotel are phenomenal! Helpful, courteous, friendly. My room was an interior room. Bed was comfy, shower was hot and clean. The terrible thing was the sewer smell that came into my room from bathroom. It literally made me gage. Maybe ask for another room as those in our tour group were...

We stayed there for only one night. The hotel is pretty poor. I would not take there my family, but for 2 friends to share a room for one night is ok. Better than outside any way. They do not have a heating system but the 5 kg of blankets can compensate! It’s situated close to the thermal baths and...

This hotel has nothing going for it apart from location in Aguas Calientes and is essentially abusing that. The location is quite good (5-10 mins from the bus up to Machu Picchu), but there are a lot of hotels and hostels here that can claim that. The whole hotel is damp, from common areas to the bedrooms, it's like sitting...

The hotel was comfortable. Although small, it had all the necessary amenities. Size of room was fine. The noise of the river was constant, but I sill like it - it makes you feel you are living in a live forest. Breakfast was just fine..
