The hotel itself is nothing special the rooms were very small and there was only basic appliances. But for the location and circumstances it is nothing more than you can expect and great refuge after the tiresome walks around Aguascalientes. The hot water in the showers was temperamental and the views were of the backstreets but I have no complaints....

Walk uphill from train station. No lifts. Lots of hot water. Comfortable bed. Good wifi. Quiet. Good breakfast. Near plenty of shops and restaurants. Downhill walk to Machu Picchu bus. G Adventures hotel for those not walking Inca Trail.

Decent hotel to stay in before going to Machu Picchu on a G Adventures tour. Room clean. Small windows at the top of the room face the hallway which is a bit strange. Located about 15 min walk from train station. Those saying it is up a "massive" or a "big" hill, are exaggerating it is a small hill and...

Stayed for one night before going to Machu Picchu. There are quite a few flights of stairs if you're on a higher level and the hotel is up a massive hill- so if you have health or mobility issues this is not for you! The hotel was nice and the rooms were clean. Shower had hot water. Room was very...

Stayed here for one night as part of a G-Adventures tour. Hotel was located centrally in the town, about 15 minutes walk from the train station (up hill). Close to many restaurants and the hot springs (just up the street). The rooms were clean with plenty of bedding and hot showers. Our room faced the street which made it a...

I stayed at this hotel one night as part of a GAdventures tour. The hotel is located right on the main avenue in Aguas Calientes and just a short walk away from the town square and the hot springs. There are many restaurants that are near the hotel. The hotel has free in-room wi-fi and wi-fi in the lobby. The...

This place is such a dump that I was up all night, just waiting to get out of there. The room smelled terribly of mildew, and there was black mold growing on the walls. The sheets and towels were clammy with dampness. The ceiling fixture flickered on and off all night. The water in the shower was just lukewarm. DO...

This hotel was quite nice and very close to the hot springs and everything else in Aguas Calientes. The free wifi was a welcome surprise as we had been told that there may not be wifi. It worked well and that made all of us happy. Nobody wants to wait to post pics of Machu Picchu! The rooms were decent...
