I stayed in la Cabana hotel in Aguas Calientes for a night. I heard that there is new building of the hotel on the opposite side of the river in Aguas Calientes, I stayed at the new one. The whole hotel was new. Room was very spacious, huge bed, clean, and jacuji in each room. The staffs at the hotel...

We read good reviews for the hotel La Cabana and decided to book two nights during our stay in Aguascalientes, even though the price was higher than other places. What a disappointment! The sink in the bathroom barely worked. The shower was terrible - not enough cold water to mix with the hot water, so you would almost burn yourself...

We stayed here for 1 night during a visit to Machu Picchu, after reading a lot of positive reviews on TripAdvisor. The hotel was easy to find and is only 5 minutes walk from the bus station. They have free tea and fruit in the reception all day. I found 'check in' to be a little bit unfriendly. However, the...

Many rooms had windows that opened to central stairway and NOT to the outside. My room smelled of sewage (methane gas) and finally I said I could not stay there. Fortunately they had one room left with sliding doors to outside which was much nicer. Be sure to ask it they have a room with a window or doors to...

This was a very bad stay: the room was dirty: mosquitos dead on the walls, sheets with stains. The pressure and temperature in the shower are very variable. The breakfast is minimal. The staff is ok, the location is excellent but I would never stay there again.

We requested the new property, via email, prior to arrival. We received a kind meet and great at the train station and were led to the old hotel where we were informed the new one was closed in the low season for improvements. The receptionist was helpful and polite and suggested we could make our own sandwiches, from the breakfast...

This place was absolutely amazing. The staff was wonderful the the rooms were spacious and clean. The staff was quick to accommodate all of our needs. One of our flights got delayed and as such we missed several trains so we arrived much later than expected. Someone from the hotel was still waiting for us as soon as we stepped...

The hotel is good basic, comfortable, safe option. Our room was on the top floor (only room at the level), quite roomy and comfortable. The effort taken to 'decorate' the bed with heart signs and love was much appreciated. You should stay away from rooms facing the street as it gets quite noisy. There is no A/C in rooms so...

Nice hotel, fabulous breakfast spread at 4:30AM. Its up the hill near the hot springs.Very nice staff. Realized we had only printed the booking reference form and not the entrance ticket to MP. The staff was really kind to print out all 5 of our tickets at no extra cost. They had really cute owl souvenirs for guests to take home....

AguaCalientes is a no car town, so location become dominant. La Cabana has two properties, one new construction about 5 mins from the train station and another one about 15 mins away, which is the older property with larger lobby and most photos on tripadvisor. Either one can be favorable based on your needs. For example, if you are a...
