In our deluxe junior suite with an outdoor sauna, shower and seating area encompassed by the jungle this was a nature lover's dream. The room was spacious beyond belief. Not to mention the complimentary bottle of Pisco. The nature excursions particularly looking at the Andean Spectacle bears was a real treat . Convenient to the train station and a short...

Reasonably friendly staff, average food and service Our rooms (first one smelled of smoke and faced into hill and steps) were of average quality Not really value for £ Steps everywhere so not suitable if you are not reasonably mobile Easy to hear your adjacent neighbours

The best place to stay in aguas Calientes if you don't mind the noise of the trains. Great food, wonderful service. Enjoy a cocktail by the pool or the sweat lodge! Great lobby with a fireplace that takes away the dampness. Wonderful rainfall showers too.

Of the 3 better hotels we stayed at in Peru this was the least impressive. Not to say it was bad, it was not, and from all we heard it is the best choice while visiting Machu Picchu, but it was just a little lackluster. I'd give it a 3.5 stars if that was an option but I am rounding...

Love, love this hotel! You feel like you are in your own home, the rooms are casitas with a bedroom, bathroom, living room with a fire place. There are relaxing water features throughout the property. We opened the windows, had a nice breeze and the sound of the water was very relaxing! We had hiked Machu Pichu and Sungate so...

After trekking about 50 miles over 6 straight days to as high as 14,500 feet in Elva., we were so happy to spend a night here before we went up to Machu Picchu and Waynapicchu. Beautiful property, wonderful staffs, and great food. Our suite was immense, almost 1,000 square feet with a second floor loft, a working fire place that...

This is more of a destination property than just a hotel. The rooms are dotted throughout the property and have a variety of things to do. They have nature walks for orchids, and other sights. They have a spa, restaurant overlooking the river and a large lounge area. The rooms are comfortable and private. We had a view of lush...

The staff at this hotel were so incredible. My husband and I had planned to do the short Inca trail, one day hike and second day guided tour of Machu Picchu. Sadly I developed serious altitude sickness but still was determined to visit the monument. So while he got off the train and hiked 7+ miles into MP, I arrived...

We stayed for just the one night while visiting Machu Picchu. The hotel is situated in a bush setting just above the train station. (No issues with noise as the trains do not run at night!) The rooms were very comfortable with all that is required. The shower and bathroom are reasonably open so it is best to share with...

Pros: Good food in hotel restaurants. Dinner menu was creative and excellent quality. Comfortable beds. Lovely grounds. Cons: The "cold pool" next to the hot tub was a brown, polluted mess. Ugh. Laundry was fast but very expensive and a bit careless. Hotel charges for bottle water even though tap water is not safe to drink nor is other clean...
