We didn't expect much from this place due in the main to what we had heard about Aguas Calientes being a tourist trap - but we were pleasantly surprised. The room was clean, the beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was fine. The room had a small balcony at the rear with really dramatic views of the mountain side....

Comfortable beds. Bathroom outdated and dirty- dead bugs in the shower and the sink was cracked. The toilet did not work well (ran constantly and flushed poorly). The drapes did not cover the window sufficiently (10" gap on a ground floor window that faced the court where everyone walked by). Extremely close to train tracks in front and rushing river...

Looks very basic when you arrive but beds are comfortable and despite being right on railway track seemed to stop around 9pm to 6am. The breakfast was very good sets you up for a day at Machu Picchu. I would definitely recommend this as a stop over place to stay

We spent just one night here after completing the Inca Trail. We were expecting a YMCA type hostel , sharing bunks etc. instead we all had comfortable clean rooms and one of the best breakfasts of the trip. The reception and porter staff were attentive and very helpful, especially when we needed hair dryers! ThAnk you for a warm and...
