We were fortunate enough to have a room overlooking the river and felt like we were in a lovely tree house! The room was well-appointed, showers were hot and the hotel staff very helpful. On the day we hiked Machu Picchu they stored our luggage. Breakfast is made to order. Overall a great spot to stay!

The building itself and amenities aren't the grandest, however it is a hot shower and a comfortable bed for your journey to Machu Picchu. More importantly the staff here was excellent, friendly, knowledgable, and full of information about the area. They even went through a checklist of what we'd need for entry to MP - and, helped us print our...

The staff is great, always kind and keen to help. The location is great, really close to the train and bus station. The rooms are spacious and the breakfast is generous. They arranged the guide and lunch for my Machu Picchu trip.

Average hotel but bad rate quality/price. Rooms must to be improve with better furniture, white walls and change the type of the windows because the noise of the river is too loud and the wind enter between the glasses.

Had a one night stay here prior to heading up to Macchu Picchu. As mentioned via email, someone (Jorge, who is super nice) was waiting at the train station for our arrival. He directed us back to the hotel which is about 7 to 10 minute walk from the station. Note that there is no accommodations made for transporting the...

We were picked up at the station and people were friendly and helpful. We had the closest room to the lobby, but it was still quiet during the night. We enjoyed listening to the raging river outside our window. The room smelled musky, but I doubt that this could be avoided with all that moisture from the river. There was...

We stayed at this hotel for one night in October prior to going up to Machu Picchu. They had given us a very nice room overlooking the river and surprised us by placing in our room a bottle of sparkling wine and some towels shaped into swans and a heart (it was our anniversary). The hotel is a small charming...

I stayed at Terrazas del Inca in Machu Picchu Pueblo during Oct.of this year. I thought that the service was very good. The staff was able to answer all my questions about Machu Picchu. I enjoyed a very good breakfast which included cereal, yogurt, cheese, ham, toast, orange juice, and coffee with milk. It was great. The room was clean,...
