We stayed here the night before we went to Machu Picchu. It's located about 2 blocks from the bus that takes you up to Machu Picchu and about 4 from the train station so the location is perfect. The room was very quiet even though the raging river is right across the street. The bed & pillows were comfy, good...

I am Peruvian and I work for a cruise line at sea as a crew member, so I do know about service and luxure, I invited 4 of my friends from the ship, they are from different nationalities, Marc from the States, Monica from Rumania, and Genna & Natalia from Ukraine, we all had the best time in Aguascalientes, and...

Great to be met at the train station as it is a little chaotic when the train pulls in. There was construction work going on next door but as it was the weekend and we were out all day it had no detrimental effect for us. The staff were lovely as we found in their hotel in Cusco but I...

Spacious rooms, hot water bath / showers, kingsize beds. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was quite good too. Downsize would be a WiFi in the room - living it's own life was on and off all the time. Plus price of $100 in my mind was a bit much.

Booked a standard double room for 1 night (5 Sep 2016) for USD140. Location is ok but Aguas Calientes is small so it doesn't really matter. Check-in was quick, room is ok size, a bit empty, shower very basic, water did not drain properly. Breakfast starts at 4:30am. Staff ok helpful. They help take the luggage to train station and...

Our family of four recently stayed here overnight after a big day at Machu Picchu. We were met at the train station and they took everything we did not need for our trip up to Machu Picchu back to the hotel - including bags to put our gear in. The staff member (can't remember his name) was extremely polite and...

This was my second time to Machu Picchu and I stayed for the first time at Tierra Viva which had great customer service and the rooms were very cleaned and had modern day updates. My view was great of the river - which I slept with the window open to hear the river rumbling down. It was less than a...

Met at train station early in morning and took our bags to hotel as we left for Machu Picchu. Rooms are spacious enough and clean, doing renovations to bathrooms between 9 to 4 so will here noise if at hotel. Cannot speak highly enough of the reception staff especially Wilfred who went out of his way to locate our guide...

Hotel was great, but we hardly spent any time there. We were upgraded because I think they were doing work in another part of the hotel (but we didn't hear any), the room had a separate sitting room and a very spacious bedroom with good wifi and clean bathroom. We had requested a room overlooking the river and we were...

Nice hotel with great staff. They unexpectedly waited for us at the train station to pick us up, help with bags, and walk us to the hotel, which was a short 2-3 min away. They also offer the free service of bringing your bags to the train station for your departure. Breakfast was pretty good. They provide free coffee, tea,...
