The hotel has a nice lobby and friendly staff. The breakfast is included and there are great tasty options and teas. The rooms are fairly basic and may be a little dated. However, the bed is comfortable and has everything you need.

Basic hotel with a hot shower and bed which were greatly appreciated after four days hiking the Inca Trail. Breakfast buffet in the morning was decent with eggs, bread, and fruits. Walls were very thin and could hear conversations/dance parties loud and clear, especially in the bathroom. Not too much noise issues with the train next door, just noisy neighbors....

The inti Punku hotel is nice, clean, in great shape and nicely located. This hotel in any other town would have scored 3 based on the Hotel amenities. But the staff brought it to a five! Very attentive, courteous, friendly staff always there to assist! I would stay here again :)

We stayed here one night after a full day of walking the Inca trail to the Sun gate and found it to be a comfortable boutique style small hotel nicely appointed and decorated with a comfortable bed. Not much with regards views etc as a lot of the windows were internal, but perfectly formed otherwise. Fantastic shower and bathroom which...

After a long day of failed plans we finally made it to Aguas Calientes, arrived into the hotel reception and was greeted by a friendly staff member who knew our name before we even mentioned it. Was then taken to our room (only had stairs no elevators) but the member of staff helped with our bags. Room was ok for...

This was booked as part of our trip to Peru with a travel agency. Not much to complain about the hotel itself. We were tired after the Inca Trail and any hotel would feel like heaven after that! I am a vegetarian and ordered ' ensalada mixta' for dinner and asked for room service. A waitress brought it to my...

I'll start by saying that this hotel was booked for us through the company we hiked the Inca Trail with. It was the worst hotel we stayed in during our entire time in South America. It was sparse, with old furnishings, and did not feel clean at all. Our room had a window above the door that was not covered,...

Stayed here with a group as part of a Salkantay trek, not sure how much the hotel costs as was part of a package. After several days camping the hotel felt very comfortable! The rooms are clean, big bathroom and nice comfy beds. Wifi was quick. There was some confusion over breakfast. We needed to be up for machu pichu...

I'm not sure what people are complaining about. Inti Punku is a modern and well appointed hotel and is a great value relative to other choices. It has a great restaurant and the staff are great. Yes it's near the train station, but it's not noisy and that didn't bother us at all. It's close to a lot of restaurants...

Stayed here after 4 nights of camping. Loved the shower and room -- It was the nicest shower we had in 2 weeks of travel in Peru. The location was central to the train, shopping and getting to the bus for Machu Picchu. Felt very clean.
