The accommodation we had here was really nicely done. I found the owners/ people running it very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fine. The coffee Italian style and is great. Taxis can be arranged to pick you up or drop you off at the ferry. But you could also use the bus. Bring a torch/ flash light as the road...

We loved our stay at Finca Montania Sagrada! It is definitely off the beaten path on Isle de Ometepe, but it is worth the trip! There is a good selection of restaurants within walking distance as well as delicious food on the farm. The flowers are beautiful and we loved all of the animals! You are staying on a farm...

My husband and I spent three nights at Finca Montania Sagrada with our 6 year old daughter. Biggest highlights: --The hosts were great -- colourful, welcoming and helpful. --The horseback riding offered at the hotel was fantastic. My daughter had a short lesson and than we went on a three hour ride to the most wonderful view of Ometepe's two...

This was a beautiful place to stay in Ometepe. It's a little further from some of the more crowded spots on the island, which is why I chose it, and I was so glad I did. Such a beautiful spot, and everyone there was so friendly and hospitable, giving me lots of information and helping with whatever I needed. My...

I traveled here alone and my hosts were some of the greatest people I've hung out with. Hari, who runs the stables and offers riding excursions, made sure he understood my riding skill and paired me with a suitable horse before we went out. Additionally, I worked with a horse trainer (I can't remember her name) and she assessed my...

A little paradise in Ometepe! There are only a few cabanas lost in the middle of trees and flowers. It's so beautiful and relaxing! Breakfast is great and the staff is friendly. For animals lovers too! (many horses and dogs). I also did a full day horse riding tour around the Maderas volcano with Hari. Fantastic! The finca and hari's...

The area is gorgeous and very remote. It takes a full hour to get to the finca from the ferry dock in Moyogalpa. It's a $30 taxi ride ($50 round trip) to get from the finca to anywhere else on the island, so we couldn't afford to explore other areas. The rooms are in very nice shape, with a hammock...

We normally do not answer to reviews but we think this review needs an answer. We, the owners are Italian and like all Italians, not only we speak loudly and wave our hands around, we really care about the quality of food. The food we prepare here is made with the best ingredients found in Nicaragua, of course our food...

Remote, but beautiful on the "Madera" side of Ometepe with a wonderful garden. Downside is that it can only be reached with a 4-W. At the time of our stay (3 nights), there was no cook, so we had to walk down the dirt track to the village of Merida (about 15 min), but found excellent and cheap come cooking...

We had great time. The owners are so nice will make you feel like family. Food is great. There's horses and all kind on animals living happily in the in the Finca. Steps from the trial that goes on top of the Vulcano. Can't wait to go back.

We stayed here around new years 2013/14 and this was by far the best place during our 3 weeks in Nicaragua ... a small hide-away with tranquility, in middle of mother nature and if you love animals, this is your place! we also loved the Italian cooking and salads and pasta at dinner time ... we stayed 4 days and...
