We were visiting as a family, and were very happy with staying in the kasbah. Ali was very helpful in organising the trip to Sahara, which turned out very nice, while Hasan made sure we felt at home in the kasbah, with many small gestures of kindness. And the pool is just great. A little oasis of peace in the...

We booked a Sahara desert trip by 4x4 through the kasbah. It was one of the most amazing things I have ever done and the two guides were great. The tents were set up and we had dinner under the stars. I would definitely recommend it.

Excellent welcome, very helpful and friendly staff. A really well renovated small kasbah which has maintained a truly Moroccan style. Situated in a typical suburb on the edge of the southern side of Zagora and with a palmerie adjacent to this kasbah makes it possible to enjoy walking in this area. Alternatively, there is a lovely roof-top terrace from which...

Just off the main road into Zagora coming from the south, this place is conveniently located. The rooms are fine - a touch on the shabby side perhaps - but perfectly clean and decent, with ensuite shower. The reception was a little ragged, but I later found out that this was because the owner had been to the same festival...

When you arrive at La petite kasbah, you feel right at home. The staff is truly amazing, they will help you with anything you need. Ali, Hosan and the owner, Brahim were so nice to us and our daughter. We travel a lot, but we must say this is the friendliest staff we've ever seen, not only in Morocco, but...

Every bit of our stay was excellent - the kasbah, the pool, the atmosphere, the hospitality. It couldn't have been friendlier. Thank you so much for a brilliant time!!! We felt so very well looked after and it was very comfortable.

We arrived at la petite kasbah at three in the afternoon and were greeted by excellent hosts, ali and houssine. We were offered tea and had a nice chat. Like the owner, brahim, ali and houssine speak excellent English. After our welcome we plunged in the pool under the flowers. The poolarea looks a little bit rough but it is...

Great small hotel with lovely owners and very good food. Small but comfortable rooms with good beds and a small pool to cool off. You should also book the local tour with Ali who's always around somewhere. He will take you to the most interesting and beautiful places in and around Zagora for just € 25,- (2 pers). His English...

I stayed here on tour in December and was charmed, hosts are welcoming and food great, especially the b'stilla (chicken pie with layers of fine pastry) which is to die for!! One of the best meals I have eaten in Morocco. But charming should not include a bit run down... even for a modest guest house. My bedroom needed a...

When I first set foot in La Petite Kasbah, I was immediately enchanted; Brahim, the owner, gave us a warm welcome, which included Moroccan tea and a quick tour of the premises. Originally his family home, he converted it into a boutique guest house in 2009. Tastefully decorated with vibrant colours, Berber artefacts, and peppered with house cats roaming the...
