Riad Marrat is a small boutique resort located in one of the last palmeries to be found just before you reach the desert. Located in the tiny village of Amezerou just a short distance from the main town of Zagora. Built in traditional Riad design you enter the resort through gigantic wooden doors to an oasis of palms, gardens and a large azure blue pool. Stepping inside the property itself takes you back to a time where you might expect a visit from Aladdin himself. Accommodation provides 7 large double bedrooms, two on the ground floor and 5 on the upper level. The upper level allows all guests to also enjoy panoramic views across to the desert and surrounding Draa Valley area from the typical rooftop terrace. Decor displays thick carpets, cushions, Moroccan tiles and Gips plaster work. A salon for relaxing, and watching TV. Free Wi Fi keeps you connected. Full dining facilities inside, al fresco in the garden terrace or go local in the amazing full size Berber tent.

We really enjoyed the hotel and the service. Location within zagora is very good as it is outside the center of the dusty town, surrounded by old buildings, palmtrees safe and with local often beautifully dressed people. Mohammed (and his team members) did a great job managing

Dear Sir, We are very shocked by your words that do not correspond at all to the generality of Tripadvisor reviews on our establishment . Maybe is it a different place ? For four years the riad is managed by french and professionnal people. We do not recognize anything in what you say or dirt from the pool and from the rooms , serviced daily. Our staff has been in place for a long time and did not complain of their treatment, or they would all be long gone... So, we are sorry that you are disappointed and we invit you to contact us to make sure that we speak about the same place. Best regards, Sylviane

Chosen by Tenere Tours for one of our overnight stops and we were pleased. After a very long drive from Marrakech, the greenery, pool and beers (rare in Morocco!) were very welcome! Large clean room, hot shower and good food! We woke up refreshed and ready for our desert

"We stayed during our 3 week Morocco trip in 8 different hotels/riads and chose everywhere for the more expensive rooms - the junior suite that we had in Les Jardins Du Draa was without doubt the most beautiful of them all."
"Each room is differently decorated but all are wonderful!"
