We enjoyed our stay at Kasbah Mohayut and grew fond of the friendly, knowledgeable staff. The facilities are charming and proximity to the desert was exciting. Good food, outstanding camel ride and night in the desert with our Berber guide Mohammed. However, we had trouble checking in as one room had no water, another room was too far away for...

We just stayed at this loveyly hotel from March 1 to March 3, 2010. I had read lonely planet book about this hotel, and it's somehow a bit negative about his hotel. But LonelyPlanet is wrong on this one! We had two young children, age 4 and 2, and the owner Mohamoud and his staff were so friendly and accommodating,...

Service and food excellent. Organisation very good. Early morning camel ride great fun but beware of Ibrahim who is there to sell you very over priced fossils. 4 x 4 excursion to Berber tent with overnight and back to hotel for breakfast highly recommended.

Spectacular with no other people except us and the driver; Finally second sunset and were able to photograph a camel 'train' as a group went out to camp on the...

We had a perfect stay here, 1 night in the kasbah and 1 at the bivouac. The kasbah is right on the edge of the dunes, is comfortable and clean and has a lot of character. Dinner was excellent both nights (and catered to us as vegetarians), and breakfast (served on the terrace with views of the dunes) was the...

A small beautiful oasis amidst the desert. You must have seen it. I would go there again with my family but also with friends or alone.

We came here to experience a night in the desert sand dunes in Berber tents. Our first night, however, was in the hotel and we had problems as soon as we arrived as there was no electricity in two of our rooms (an entire section of the hotel was without power), and the a/c was not working in the third...

Too bad we had only one night here. The room was good, with a good size living room, and great bathroom. The decoration was very original. Swimming pool was very relaxing. Location is just across the sand dunes. Breakfast and dinner were good.

We have just returned from a two nights stay at mohayut and can report that it is one of the best hotel experiences we have ever had. The staff were welcoming and friendly . The plunge pool, gardens, roof terrace, huge breakfast which you can have in your room, , fresh fruit and water on your coffee table - all...
