This place is just amazing! We went there on a tour. We arrived by dromedary, what makes it already special. We got a complementary tea at arrival. After this they showed us our room, astonishing! You feel like in a hotel, with a confortable be and a bathroom. They prepared us the dinner, which was delicious. After this, they started...

Wow! Four of us were lucky enough to have this experience. Arranged through Journey Beyond Travel (*****) we were met by our guide Abdul Karim Tata, known as Tata, who invited us to his home for lunch where we met part of his large, warm family and had a delicious lunch outside. Then we were driven to the edge of...

We just returned from an 18-day trip through Morocco with another couple. We booked this trip with JOURNEY BEYOND TRAVEL, and I can't praise them enough! Their attention to detail, their selection of riads, and their personnel are extraordinary. We actually cried, leaving our wonderful driver Hamid at the airport! We really wanted to bring him home! One of the...

I wanted to spend some time in the desert and did a lot of research to try and find somewhere I could stay in relative luxury. I chose this place from the reviews and for the location and I have to say it was even better than I had anticipated and exceeded all expectations. Communication from Ammar beforehand was very...

My husband and I spent one night at the Jaimas Madu camp site during our 10-day trip through Morocco. We were extremely impressed with the camp site and service provided. We arrived by camel (although vehicles can drive to the camp too) as arranged by our tour guide, and were greeted with Moroccan tea and snacks by the staff. A...

Jaimas Madu has easily become one of our highlights of our stay in Morocco, or our highlights of all of our worldwide travel experiences. Staying in a hotel camp on the Sahara desert and riding camels across it were unforgettable. The hotel camp had appropriate necessities that made us feel comfortable. The thick blankets really helped due to the super...

One of the best experiences we had in Morocco. Although it was winter, the camp had "tons" of heavy blankets. The crew was extremely careful and attentive. The dinner and breakfast served were very good and during the dinner there was a group presenting berber music. Traveling one and a half our on camel back was unforgettable, specially with the...

We came here as part of a 3 night excursion into the mountains and desserts of morocco on our honeymoon. We could not have expected though the level of luxury we were to get at jaimas madu. We were dropped off by our driver at the edge of the dunes and were greeted by our two camels and Ishmael our...

We chose this place based on its facilities & previous reviews and it certainly did not disappoint. Jaimas Madu is everything you could ask for "glamorous camping" with facilities in the Erg Chebbi. We were not ready to totally rough it out (despite our chosen tour agency Roughtours-to be reviewed-name is quite ironic, but they delivered) & Jaimas Madu was...
