If you want easy access to the dunes this is the place for you! Walk right out the back terrace and onto the sand dunes. Staff were extremely courteous and friendly. Ali and Ishmail will see to your every need, which won't be much in a place as quiet and relaxing as Erg Chebbi. We didn't do the camel/camping tour,...

We visited in the low season and struck a really good deal (I think it wouldn't be appropriate to mention the amount) that included the room, and a very decent three course dinner. The location is simply the best. The rolling dunes of Erg Chebbi start LITERALLY as you walk out the side door of the hotel. They didn't have...

We stayed here one night before heading with our expedition vehicles into the dunes. The site is quiet, has good amenities (for moroccan desert)...hot showers and running water. The site is right next to the dunes and we drove out into the dunes straight from the camp. Beautiful setting. The manager greeted us with a welcome tea and peanuts. Very...

Stayed with a small group for a total of 2 days (1 night) before camel trekking out to a camp in the dunes for 6 days. Everything organised by Ali, and we couldn't have asked for a more gracious and thoughtful host. After a 12+ hour bus ride, arriving around 10pm we were met off the bus, greeted with the...

The room we stayed in had bed bugs. My wife and I stayed one night at Auberge Les Pyramides and my wife was woken up in the middle of the night by one. We were too freaked out to go back to sleep; while we were awake four other bed bugs were found crawling across the sheets. We caught each...

We stay there 2 nights, one day trip in the Sahara doors. Everything great. ALI was very helpful. Cheap price and correct room. Really clean and good food. We recommend it. You will be directly on the sand, you can walk less than1 minutes and you are on it.

Emerging into the beauty of Erg Chebi again will not be possible if there is no place called "Les Pyramides" which kept the silence and the spirit of the heavenly Sahara as it is: the personnel as well, and the Max, the most refined and gentle dog I ever seen (at home we have siberian husky Iris and doberman Aria,...

Location is amazing. Very cheap. They offer a lovely camel trek into the desert and that experience was perfect. The hotel also would let us use a room for free after returning from the trek and waiting all day for our bus, when we were no longer paying guests of the hotel. The food there is delicious. Our lovely feeling...

If ever accommodation could be called an experience, this must be it. Auberge les Pyramides has one of the most picturesque settings in Merzouga with its location being directly in front of the high erg Chebbi dunes. Palm trees, camels and berber men wearing turbans and djellabahs simply add to the authentic feel. Upon arrival I was greeted with a...
