So when you open it up you can walk straight out into the dunes!! We arrived in the dark, and the next morning were amazed by what greeted us at our back door.....the rolling, massive sand dunes spreading away from us. The following night was spent in the dunes themselves, but that can be a separate review. Dunes D'or does... More

Simply all great! The location is better than imagined. The hotel is very clean, relaxing environment. Very polite, friendly and helpful staff. Really on the edge of the desert, we combined our stay in Morocco with Auberge De Charme Les Dunes D'Or. We highly recommend.

Great location and must have been a very impressive hotel in it's day, now a little run down, rooms dark and not too clean, hot water intermittent, corridors tend to exaggerate noise of other guests . Swimming pool a welcome facility having experienced the Sahara during the day, great views of the sunrise and the staff are helpful. Food limited... More

I have already been in Morocco for a couple weeks, and by far, the experience here was in my top 3. Everything you read in the reviews are good. What I liked as well, was that everyone was really helpful, they are trusting, and none of them asked for tips like in the rest of Morocco. This time we felt... More

Had a terrific time at this relaxing place in wonderful surroundings. Very welcoming and funny staff. Felt at home. Good local food, great little terrace of your own at the desert edge with wonderfull sky. Did both excursions: Small camel sunset ride and half day with jeep in desert. Both were fun, worth the amount of money and good guidance.... More

We did a camel trip info the desert from this kasbah. After a great desert experience, we spend one day to relax in the kasbah itself. You can simply walk into the desert from the restaurant, real nice! The rooms are spacious and clean, although a bit hot (didn't cool down much at night). The swimming pool is great, with... More

We were so lucky to have Moha as our guide for a camel trek into the desert. It was amazing. We were fortunate to have him all to ourselves and we enjoyed every minute of it. Watching the sunset to eating delicious tagine under the stars, sleeping in the cozy Berber tent and waking up to the yummr breakfast. Moha... More

We stayed at the Dunes D'or for one night during our 4 day trip from Fez to Marrakesh. Dinner was buffet style. There was a huge tour group staying the same night at us so dinner inside was a bit cramped and food was cold by the time we got to eat. The staff was all very nice, but the... More

We did in India and in Jordan some dessert experiences. This one was completely different. In Merzouga tipically the camel tours start very late. You just ride one hour first day, and the same the second. They are very expensive. So, staying in this hotel allows you to enjoy the sahara dunes by yourself. You are just 500mts away from... More
