The place is amazing. It's so authentic and original. Beautiful design. The service is perfect and the breakfast is big Wow. Special thanks to Hamza(the receptionist). Staying at Casa Sabila has been great! From all the places we have stayed during our trip, Chefchaouen and Casa Sabila are the best from far! Our room was small, but really comfortable and the breakfast is freshly made in the morning and delicious! Fadila and Imad have been absolutely friendly, lovely and very attentive. The service we had in Casa Sabila has been absolutely unique during our trip. We were leaving Chefchaouen at 3 pm, so we checked out and let our baggage at the hotel to go for a last tour. We came back around 1pm and even although we have checked out, we could enjoy tea on the terrace!! We are very thankful for this and we fully recommend them! The hotel is very close to the mosque so, we can hear the prayer very loud every time... but well, this is part of the trip and not the fault of the hotel. …
Chefchauan had been on my bucket list for years. So, finding the right accommodation was important to me. Casa Sabila turned out to be perfect... It had just what I was looking for with all the right charming little touches. I stayed in the Nora room, which had a little terrace (shared by the other 4 rooms) you walk directly out on. Although only big enough to fit 2 or 3 tables, it has a great view. The time in February I was there was fairly cold, so I rather enjoyed breakfast by the fire in the morning downstairs inside... Keep that fire lit in the morning and evening please... It creates such soothing, radiant ambiance that bookends ones meal, kind of like music. The staff are young vibrant and funky... Fadella, really went out of her way to ensure my time there was special. On the afternoon I arrived, she also recommended a restaurant "Bab Ssour", which turned out to be literally, the ONLY place I ate at during my 3 night stay... I really enjoyed our conversations about music, life and whatever... Looking forward to returning one day and hopefully whoever works there will carry on the tradition the current staff have... You will hear a very loud call to prayer in the morning and my room was over an active alleyway. Things to consider. Despite being a light sleeper, the charm and energy of Casa Sabila outweighed these elements... Highly recommend...…
We stayed here for 2 nights in Jan. Really nice place, even though our room was really small it was comfortable. The location is excellent and all the people there including the owner are really friendly and welcoming. The breakfast on the terrace was excellent. Only 2 slight negatives: Nightmare to park and we had no hot water on the 2nd day.
A wonderful hotel with five guest rooms at an ideal location in the Medina. It is next to a mosque a short walk from the city entrance near the waterfall. We had a pleasant room that opened up to a nice outside sitting area on one of the upper floors. The breakfasts were tasty and filling with eggs, breads, and cheese. The hotel staff were amazing. They organized a taxi and driver from the airport in Tangier where we landed in Morocco after over 16 hours of travel. They also went to the bus station that is located on the edge of town to get the tickets for our trip to Fes. A chore beyond the call of duty. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
