The dar was located in a nice location and easy to find (post the first time, thankfully we had a guide). However if you are arriving late at night they don't have anyone to come and escort you from the main road (as is available at other places), as there is only one person at night duty and he was unable... We enjoyed 4 nights in this amazing Riad, the view from the terrace is outstanding, it makes you feel like you want to stay there forever. I hope the pictures can give you a better idea about the place!! Cheers

Enjoyed Dar Gabriel a lot. Room was small but cute and comfortable, and has a particularly good shower. The owner Jesus offered us a lot of helpful advice and suggestions. We got laundry done, swapped English novels from their library, and even had henna tatooing. Breakfast is especially nice. Despite others saying its hard to find, it truly is not.... More

Stayed with family (two adults, two teenagers) on top floor in summer. It was hot but opening window at night and fan in room great. Nice and quiet. Great to have clothes line on roof. Wonderful to look at stars at night and hear Call to Prayer ricochet through valley. My Spanish made talking with hotel manager from Cueta very... More

It was very hard for me to find it while only given the address "Bab el Souqs". This basically means "local market entrance". Upon booking, the hotel states online that it takes cash or paypal but eventually it's only cash, which is a norm in Morocco. The riad itself is very beautiful but the room I was in was on... More

I went there with my sister for one night. The manager is a young woman from Ceuta who was very obliging and helpful, recommended places, brought us another couch to the room, etc... The room was clean, beautiful and a typical chaouni blue habitacion. Hearing people speak with local accent in the Medina street was a pleasure jejeje. We'd love... More

I stayed at Dar Gabriel for four nights as a solo female traveller. It's in the heart of the medina and once you know where you are, it's very easy to get to most places and is a short walk to the main square. I have limited Arabic and Spanish so I totally accept that perhaps the staff were not... More

Dar Gabriel is located at the top of the hill and in the heart of the Medina. The rooms are well maintained, the staff were friendly. There was no aircon in my room but a electric fan was provided. This is a delightful small hotel (only 7 rooms) deep within the Medina. We were very comfortable, and the staff couldn't be more helpful. A substantial breakfast is included in the price - fruit juice, mint tea, coffee, fried eggs, cheese, local bread and pastries, and jam! There are several seating areas where you can relax/take breakfast and enjoy the... More
